AB was defending hard as usual but what I noticed was that Thomas to was picking up lillard from close to the half court..the defense was beautiful Defense is contagious.

So, Young is a goner after this season ends... probably

Wow! I forgot about him tonight.
its not looking good for him, but I think he is still getting over an injury and was not available.

IT has made himself into a solid defender.  He'll always be 5'9" and he'll always struggle with guards who can take advantage of his size, but he puts in the effort and uses his quickness well.

was wondering what happened to him in terms of why he didn't even see garbage time.  They didn't mention him as injured in the pre-game coverage.

speaking of less than positive signs, anyone else becoming less enamored with Rozier?  every time I see this kid he's got a gunner's/Me-first style of play on the court.  not digging him at all at this point.

There was mention of a calf injury with him the past couple of days, if I'm remembering correctly. So that might have been why he didn't get in.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Clearly not ready to contribute, but he has elite athleticism and length. He was obviously just looking for his own, which isn't good, but I will attribute some of that to just wanting to make his mark. I wouldn't give up on him just yet - definitely a better bet down the line than Young.

Hard to judge on limited minutes. He did OK handling the ball and he got some burn. I have no problem with him looking to score in garbage time. I just want his shot to start falling.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure he didn't dress for the game.  He wasn't listed on the box score I was looking at as active.

With the really limited opportunity for PT I think he suffers from what I like to call SLS(Summer League Syndrome) where everyone who isnt a first round pick plays very me-first basketball in hopes of impressing someone.

Yup lots of bench players on both teams were doing that tonight.

maybe it's me but I would think the type of play that would catch a coach's attention is selfless, team ball where smart plays are being made as opposed to chucking up a shot every time they touch the ball.

Couldn't catch the game today. Anyone kind enough to give me a summary? Good/bad? And what's with Rozier taking 7 shots in 6 min lol
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

You are right, but for a young frustrated player its hard to just play within himself and try to make the right play. Its not a good sign, but I dont think its a big deal.
