I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Congrats to CBS! I also enjoy the coincidence that the next game is vs. the Western Conference Coach of the Month.  If this were boxing, the belt for Best NBA coach would be on the line.

Stevens so far is the coach of the season for the Eastern Conference.

Casey and van Gundy are the only other contenders I can think of.

But taking a team which barely made it to the 8th seed last season, and with the sole addition of AJ, take it all the way to 3rd seed, is quite impressive, isn't it?

I am convinced that if Brad was coaching Minnesota or Utah, he would have them winning like us.

I wonder what Stevens could do with Hayward, and KAT/Wiggins/Lavine... *Drools*

Well deserved.   I am a big CBS supporter, I did not care for some of his early season rosters with Lee, but look where he has us now.   I have always thought he has us playing above our talent level.

Learning curve for the guy too,   He had a lot of changes working with divas.   Plus he was dealt a screwed up hand with all the trades and such .

He has done an amazing job .  With the team of " misfit Toys"  ...LOL :D

He ll really shine when he gets a couple top players ......like A. Davis or Wiggins to work with.

NBA just makes it so difficult to obtain players with their screwed up lottery system THAT allows tanking .

I'm starting to think this guy just might be able to coach. ;)  Seriously, it's amazing what he's done.  And I don't think he was even on anyone's radar when Ainge hired him.

a bit of a bump, but this is a great article that shows how CBS designs really good plays out of time outs...and thus helped him win coach of the month.  ;D

enjoy...
