  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I wouldn't be surprised if we struck out on guys like Horford if we made a run at a guy like Meyers Leonard, if only to screw with the Blazers.

If I was Kevin Durant, I'd choose Boston.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think if you were elected President you'd move the Whitehouse to Boston.  ;)

I'll take it as a compliment.

Although, as much as I love the Boston Celtics, I don't actually love the city of Boston.

I do love New England in general, though.

When was the last time we actually got a meeting with a big name free agent?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I think Durant would help us, but we would need a defensive big to get over the top even with him.

I would be interested to see if Horford and Noah would be interested in a reunion. They where rumates at Florida and reportedly still close friends. It wouldn't be an age appropriate roster move but swapping Amir for Noah and sully for Horford clearly upgrades the roster. Noah is out with shoulder surgery but missed minimal time the two precocious season. This year in the post Thibs mess he was having a down year but still averaged almost 9rb and 4ast in 20min his per for stat line was 8pt 16rb 6ast 1.5stl 1.5blk. If brought in and given the starting job but kept to playing less then 30mpg I think he would thrive here.

Not a good group, Durant doesn't count! Horford is a big that plays away from the basket these days, his rebounding numbers are poor. I'd take him of course but not very excited with the idea. Some people kill Love on here but I'd take Love over Horford every time.

I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Noah on a contract similar to what we did for Amir.  The guy busts his butt playing and would fit in perfectly with this team.

With cap space jumping, Dwight Howard or Al Horford could basically be signed outright. Wouldn't mind that all.
