Not sure what is prompting the disrespect toward what Curry has accomploshed the past 2 seasons and lack of appreciation for his level of play... but it's absurd.

How is it disrespect? It's a discussion

BTW lillard when Aldridge was on the team , was a force in the playoffs

It's a discussion along the lines of, "What's worth more, a $20 bill or a $10 bill?"

After much deliberation, I'd choose Lillard over Eddy Curry, over Mark Curry, over Ann Curry, and over an aging Tim Curry but perhaps not peak Clue-era Tim Curry.

Still undecided on Lillard vs. curry the sauce. PROS: delicious; versatile cover; strong at boxing out. CONS: inanimate matter; gratuitous heat checks; susceptible to fluid 2's.

Lillard and Curry are both decent defenders.   But I would have to give the edge to Lillard. Just longer and more explosive
I've never heard Lillard described as a decent defender. Everything I've read about him is that he's an absolutely terrible defender.

He's laughably bad. In fact, the debate is who's a worse defender, he or McCollum?

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
top 3 NBA player vs guy somewhere in between 20-30.
hmmmm

tough question.

So what you are saying is , if Curry and lillard switched spots.  The Blazers would be that much better.

Right

Right
you are just being silly dude.

Curry has a chance to end up being a top 15 all time player.

Lillard is around a top 15 player for current players.

Yes. Curry is WAY better than Lilliard.
The Blazers would have 10 more wins at least with Curry instead of Lilliard.

So what you are saying is that there isn't much difference between Lilliard and Curry?
Right.

Think of Curry on the Blazers like Allen Iverson on that terrible 76ers team that he took to the finals. Top 3 NBA player. Lilliard is a top 30 NBA player.

The Warriors might lose to a healthy Clippers team with Lillard instead of Curry. And then you got OKC and the Spurs who would beat the Warriors also.

So besides pointing out the difference in roster talent, you got nothing.

I think Lilard has shown how weak Curry's defending is and how protected his is in Kerr's system l. No great two way player cops 50 points, I can't even remember a prime Rondo ever getting scored on that much by another point guard

There's no question that I take Lillard.  Seth Curry is a scrub.
