I used to fight it  but it's  nice to know there are people with minds of their own out there. With the media and everything else people tend to fall into this herd mentality of this is what we have to do and people speculate and run with stuff without even knowing the full story.  I can't stand that stuff. It's the definition of insanity.  Okafor would have been a really nice young center to go with our current group though.  DA might be looking to go a completely other direction here than what the media has painted him as.  Hopefully there are other guys out there who fit this mold. I'm not sure there are.

I'm not sure I even agree with ainge's whole sell KG and Paul before they fall off bit and getting all these picks.  We could have just let them retire here and gone high up in t he lottery once they were gone.  Now ainge kind of has all these picks and a team he has been building all along to go with someone like this.  We have 3 potential shots in the lottery with brooklyn's picks instead of ours though.

I think people are wrong that ainge just trades whoever here and what we've been building though.  He jumpstarted the process so we'd have this current group and picks to pick and choose what we really want to do.

DA at the very least has been a good GM at doing what he thinks is right and not succumbing to media pressure so that's good.  It's also rare these days.

Maybe the media some day will realize they are wrong and insane one of these days. Ainge did basically say these other deals weren't good enough.  Okafor apparently was but Philly wouldn't give him up.
