Seem like everyone wants more Mickey...   But forget to realize...that he just got more time than he has ever.   Takes time.   This was a close game.  We won because everyone's contributions tonight.  Including Mickeys and coach Stevens rotation. 

Lets have Mickey keep earning minutes until he deserve more.

I did really like the blocks.  He has impressive timing to block shots like the Hayward lay up out of the air at heights that seem above his reach.

Zeller was pretty bad last game.  Looked like how he did early in the year actually.  We really missed Olynyk.

Yeah, these past few games there have been a number of moments where I've thought "if only we had Olynyk...". 

We have really missed him.  Can't underestimate the importance of the skills he brings.

Brad gettin like Doc and not playing his rookies.  These guys should be seeing some more time especially Rj and Mickey so they can get a better feel for the game.

James young needs to get the **** outta dodge like three years ago.

So who's going to loose minutes? AB,Smart,Turner,Sully,KO,Amir,Zeller? Mickey may get his shot now with Lee gone and KO hurt. You also can't just give them heavy minutes. We don't know how they are playing in practice. Stevens had played these guys in the beginning of the year, but Stevens tightened up his rotations, which means odd men out. I like Hunters game, but I don't think he's better than IT,Smart,AB or Turner.

Mickey may get a shot now with Lee gone and KO hurt, he has a chance to work himself into the rotation.

And wasn't young in highschool three years ago?

They don't need to get heavy minutes. If they start the 4th q. with our +23, I don't see how would they get heavy minutes. Mickey entered the game 2 minutes to go and rejected the shot in next Portland's posession. I won't say a word for rest of guys, but this guy could be a diamond and he has to play, especially in Kelly's absence. Zeller is a nice guy, but that's just it.

Zeller certainly doesn't get enough respect from this blog, he's a true blue collar worker who does his job, and doesn't complain.

Unfortunately being just a good guy and hard worker doesn't always pay off. I see Mickey as something special, and if he could just shoot the mid range, or learn how to pass, I could see him having an Ibaka like game with more finishing touches in the rim.

The thing about Mickey that I love is his knack for timing his shots. His wingspan of course adds onto that. I still remember the block he had in the D-League, where he switched hands to block, and I was simply taken aback. A guy like this could be a Draymond Green like type of player, that most GM's slept on, and wondered why they didn't choose him.

2) Going to take some time. Give Mickey some minutes, but he isn't well versed enough on offense, not to be a liability. Even Stevens admitted that Mickey still doesn't know some sets on offense, so its vital that Mickey learns those as soon as possible if he wants to see time on court.
