Looks like the initial estimate of 2 weeks was a bit too optimistic. Losing Olynyk definitely hurts, but perhaps #FreeMickey is finally here.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

That second unit was playing so good. This sucks.

He should rest up and be ready for playoffs. Things are going to get a lot more physical. Mickey's time to get a NBA feel.

Ouch. 3-4 weeks? Celticslife/Redsarmy were speculating the length, and both of them were hovering around 2-3 weeks. 3-4 weeks may seriously put a damper on our playoff spot/seeding. As much as people dislike KO at times, he's been very aggressive, and looking for his shot, which has certainly helped our seeding.

That's brutal. Must've been a reaaaaallly bad bruise. I hope he isn't too rusty when he returns.

It's a partial separation apparently.

Wow, if it takes 4 weeks with the All Star break that makes it a 5 week injury.

This will hurt us. He has been a big floor spacer for us even when he was not shooting that well over the last few games. Players had to honor his outside shooting.

Kelly always takes weeks to even start playing well after he returns. Dude is too brittle.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
The prognosis of a 'couple weeks' had to leave doubt in some people's eyes, especially since that estimate came out of the Cs camp. Obviously a bummer since many of us here like watching his development, but I don't think we will lose much with JJ getting his minutes.
