I enjoy that we're starting to make some noise around this league again. Charles Barkley mentioned a while back on Inside the NBA that the best game he's watched this season was the Celtics vs. Warriors. Hopefully we get a nice draft pick and become a real threat in a year or 2.

Hopefully, we land a top free agent or two and become a threat next year.  And with the three Brooklyn picks, remain a threat for many years to come.  :)

As things currently stand, the Celts would face off with the Pacers in the 1st round.  Could also end up against the Heat or the Bulls.

Premature to be talking about the Celts matching up with the Cavs.  Let's first ask -- can they win a playoff game, let alone a playoff series?

There is very little winning playoff experience on this roster.  Avery Bradley's the only one of the main guys who has been a significant part of a team that went anywhere.

Playing excellent defense is a good indicator for post-season success, generally.  Still, the playoffs are a different game.  And since we didn't add a capable secondary scorer at the deadline, there's still cause for concern that the Celts might not be very well equipped for that different type of game in the playoffs.

I'm looking forward to finding out one way or another.  Should be interesting.

Hopefully we gain some of that "winning playoff experience" this year.

I actually think that the "losing playoff experience" gained last year will be helpful in the upcoming playoffs.

I'm definitely excited for it.

Respect Reggie. He should've came in 2008 to get his ring.

Then there would've been no James Posey or Eddie House and very likely no championship.

Nah----Reggie was supposed to be a mid-season sign....but he said no...more likely, we wouldn't have had Sam Cassell or PJ Brown.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

It'll be interesting to see how things shake down in the playoffs. Lot more iso ball, which I think we can handle defensively... but I'm not sure where the offense is going to come from. Have to assume we're going to stay the course in running through our sets. IT4 does seem to have improved in late-game decision-making, though, IMO. Probably see lots of drives and kick-outs for big 3s.
