Hump and Blair going to phx
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Knew he would go for cheap. Getting him out of Phoenix ala IT will do wonders.

Changing title to be used for a generic Woj (or whoever) bomb thread.  Toss last minute non-Celtics trade stuff in here (if you want) and I'll update the title.

Suns get Wash 2016 1st protected 1-9. They currently sit 12th (i think). Pretty good get from RMcD, all things consider. Playing on Wiz playoff desperation vis-a-vis Durant.

Rob Hennigen has some egg-on-his-face for not getting a 1st out of trading Harris, at this point.

Great addition to the Wizards. Tighten up that weak big man rotation.

In the end, Phoenix got the 1st rounder and salary relief they wanted, yes?

Supposedly they wanted "a player" too. But a pick in the teens in this year's draft is more than I thought they'd muster. And maybe they consider Humphries of some form of value...

Jesus people are so fast.  No idea for whom, but [dang] it this basically guarantees that the Suns will be worse than the Nets

Who knows.  No details yet.  Might be better off without his disruptive presence.  He wasn't getting a ton of playing time under Hornacek.

Although I've already accepted the likelihood of PHX finishing with more losses than BKN by the end of the season.

It's only for a protected pick.

That was fast.

Addition by subtraction, hopefully.

FYI for those that don't know... teams often continue discussing trades in the hour following the deadline.  I think the rule is that as long as they are still working out logistics of a trade they started discussing prior to the deadline, they can keep hashing out the details.   You still might see stuff announced in the next half hour.

Not really a Woj Bomb, but:

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojVerticalNBA  4m4 minutes ago
Dwight Howard will stay with the Houston Rockets, league source tells @TheVertical. No trade.

I think this is a good deal for both teams. As the Wizards manager in the Fantasy trade deadline, I would have given more... in fact I think I offered Oubre.

I like this deal for the Wizards.

Suns had to trade Markieff, and getting a 1st for him isn't bad.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I agree with Zach Lowe. How the hell did Markieff Morris, who mailed in most of the season, and Donata Montejunas, who has been hurt for most of the season, fetch 1st round picks while Tobias Harris didn't?

How dumb is Orlando?
