That's a little surprising to me.  GM Doc being GM Doc...everyone was so impressed with him 'finally building a bench'....and 2 of the main pieces he got (Josh Smith and Stephenson) are now gone.  I suppose it's a move that doesn't really help or hurt either way.

That's a little surprising to me.  GM Doc being GM Doc...everyone was so impressed with him 'finally building a bench'....and 2 of the main pieces he got (Josh Smith and Stephenson) are now gone.  I suppose it's a move that doesn't really help or hurt either way.

It's a recognition that Smoove and Stephenson were a bad idea all along.


I never expected the Clips to actually trade Griffin, but it's interesting that they didn't.  They've got zero chance of going anywhere in the playoffs this year.

I  have a feeling Doc Rivers was the only coach in the league with interest in getting another crack at Uncle Jeff.

Everyone said we shoulda made Trade for horford.  Saying we coulda used this season as a free agent trial period and shoulda given up this years top pick.  Eh not sold on that

The last time Doc Rivers coached Jeff Green was 2012-13. Green averaged 20.3 PPG in 6 playoff games that season

Lance Stephenson is horrible and Doc just got rid of the last year of his deal. Great trade for LAC.

Nah.  A "trial period" where both Boston and Horford need to mutually agree to stick together at ~$150 million cost is absolutely not worth a top 5 pick.
