The Celtics are in great shape if we do nothing. Ainge is working from a position of strength, he has no pressing need to do anything right now. We will still have a great stock of draft picks, prospects, and tons of cap space this June.
They'll have too many draft picks, so some will have to be moved somehow.  Don't forget our JV roster from last year's draft taking up roster spots too.

15 minutes and counting.   I'd like to see something happen.  Doesn't seem like it though.

We are a good team.

We are a little bored.

We are losing to the Raptors in the second round.

We are offering the Lakers 4 first round picks to move up from 5th to 1st in the 2016 draft.

We are being refused by the Lakers.

We are funneling a hoard of 2nd tier prospects into the greatest D-league team ever assembled.

I think the team may actually appreciate it if there are no trades.
the have good relationships and good chemistry.

it could be a could think going forward. (unlike the perk deal for example.)

We need a trade deadline every day. Kept me thoroughly entertained today.

Sounds about right.

I think "We're trading three picks plus Avery Bradley and Terry Rozier for Jahlil Okafor after the Lakers reject us" might end up in there, too.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

We have 4 pretty decent picks this summer...

Brooklyn's, Dallas', our own and the Philly 2nd.   We also have some crappier 2nd rounders.   We can try to trade up, but worst-case we will just let Zeller, Sully, Lee, Turner, Jerebko and Amir walk and replace them with our draftees + two slots for max contracts.

My thoughts exactly. I think of those you mention Jerebko (2-year contract) and Turner (CBS seems to like him a lot) are the least likely to leave. But we will definitely have to make some space in our roster: apart from the newcomers, Rozier, Mickey etc need more playing time too.

I won't be surprised if next year's team will initially perform slightly worse than this year's team if only because the chemistry will change and we will have more inexperienced players. But in the long run, we are building sthg really big here.

There's still a small chance.  If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure those same reports came out in 2011...and then about 20 minutes after the deadline passed, we got the bomb that Perk was traded for Jeff Green.

Overall though, it surely doesn't look like anything has happened.  Disappointing, but given that no team made any move either that's of REAL substance and conference shifting, I think it's okay.  If anything, the worst news of the day came from Phoenix trading Morris, because now that just about guarantees that the Suns will end this season worse than the Nets.

Would have been fun but we didn't need to. DA isn't going to overpay for scrubs

Just saw that.  The C's must be holding out for a top tier #1.  That leaves about 5 players in the league and James and Curry aren't coming here.
