Well of course, Celtics are low balling as they should.

Not surprising. Cs would rather give up picks than players, and that's not what the Cavs want.

The Plain-Dealer quotes Blatt saying he thought it was either him or Love. If so, it looks as though Cleveland chose Love. Given the excellent season he's had, I think that they clearly made the right choice.

Excellent season until Kyrie came back. He's been the same k love as last season since Kyrie returned.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Very true......just to further prove your point, yesterday when Irving was out most of the game with the flu, KLove went 29/11/4.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Love was awesome vs OKC yesterday. Thoroughly abused Ibaka in the post and was draining it off the backboard from 15 feet/sideline.

Don't think anything will happen with Love until the off season.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

He is averaging career lows (or approximate career lows) in pretty much every single statistical category.

Especially since the trade deadline has passed.  Or maybe Cleveland will just buy him out and we can just pick him up.

For whatever reason, people have already made up their mind about how supposedly terrible Love has been this season.

He's averaging over 16 and 10 in 32 minutes, as a 3rd option stretch 4 on most nights. He gets 6 fewer shots than his last year in MN, 4 fewer minutes, and maybe half the post-up opportunities. His coach was fired and one of the reasons may have been misuse of Love.

Give him 6 more shots, 4 more minutes, and post him up where he draws fouls and guess what happens?

He averages 25 and 12.

Maybe people are seeing things now that make them question his past performance, but he's the same player and still capable of monster numbers with high efficiency. He's shooting 36% from deep and 81% from FT as usual, and once again one the league's best rebounders despite being planted at the 3PT line on offense.

You might try expanding your concept of what "every single statistical category" means - but even if your claim were true (it's not) he might still be having an excellent season. So - I challenge your logic as well as your facts.
