I just don't see him leaving Clevland. Imagine if he broke their hearts again?

If the Cavs don't win the ring don't be surprised if he leaves folks. He is that kind of guy

.....I could. And if he did, the "haters" would be out in full force. AND, the Bron Bron apologists will be, as they are now, labeling anyone who speaks out against him as haters.

I don't like the guy. He is not very likable to many people. To characterize those who don't like him as "haters", with all the negative connotations that the hateful word "haters" implies sucks and reeks of the exact intolerance that the disparaging word "haters" implies.

Funny, we're all Celtics fans or we wouldn't be on here, but the amount of time and the amount of vitriol that is wasted on this site bashing each other around on a non-Celtic amazes me.

We've determined that Lebron's "image" is important to him. And he wants to be known as the greatest ever. If he leaves Cleveland again that is a massive blemish on him. If he wins a championship be sure that he will take the credit for it. He's not gonna leave, there's too much potential reward

Yeah, that's why I don't see it happening either.   His standing in CLE would be permanently destroyed if he left them high & dry for the second time.  I have to think that someone as concerned with their "brand" as Lebron seems to be, wouldn't want to risk another ugly stain on his persona.

He still hasn't shaken "The Decision" with a great number of people.

As support of that, remember he signed a two-year deal and the 2nd year is a player option.  He can leave and he purposely left the door open to that, or at least renegotiating his contract in the 2nd year so he can reap in $50M/year.

So much for loyalty to Cleveland.  He is loyal to himself.

IMO, that was more about maximizing his earning potential than jetting CLE.

This crap of Lebron selling himself around the league to find another championship is tiresome. How about him standing pat, and being involved with building a champion, like everyone else. How about making a commitment to the fans who worship him.

That's why I just can't stand him, he really believes he's a king.

Yup earning potential not championships, not loyalty.

You realize how much money he'd potentially be leaving on the table if he didn't do this, right?

Pretty sure the average working man would probably take the same road if it was presented to them.

Look, I do think Lebron is a prima-donna.  Certainly concerned with his brand and he does some other things to rub me the wrong.  The Decision was an abject disaster.  That being said, he's a heckuva basketball player.    Granted we're talking millions of dollars here rather than thousands, but the idea remains the same; if you have the opportunity to maximize your earnings, why wouldn't you?  Whether you're a blue collar, white collar, or sports professional, the underlying concept remains the same.

He did the same thing when he first came back as well.  He then re-signed without taking a meeting from any other team.  He will do the same thing this year as well and will similarly likely sign a 2 year contract with an opt out after a year.  Then in the summer of 2017 he will sign a 5 year max when the cap is at its peak and finish out his career in Cleveland.

Can't see him leaving again. He's got his ring from Miami while this Cleveland team may not win a title they got a good shot to get to the finals this year and for the next couple of years.

I only could see him leaving if he's in a PPierce situation, where he's at the end of his career, not the dominate player and only looking to play 15-20 minutes a game. He's still got a while before this happens. Probably goes the Kobe route and just stays Cleveland thou.

. When the Cavs inevitably get throttled by the Warrior's and Lebron blames The Cavs for this awkward roster, dreaded cap situation, and shipping Wiggins out for this bum named Love.

Is there any real options for him to take his talents to next year, Lord knows he's ready to bolt for percieved greener pastures at the drop of a ball.

He can blame the Cavs all he wants, but doesn't he have a hand in all of their moves?

Is there some proof/quote that LeBron wanted/liked Wiggins over Love?  I thought it was the other way around.

And when you've got 3 max-paid stars coming together on one team, the rest of your roster is obviously going to be awkward and your cap situation is going to suck.  He clearly knew that going in.

You need to be good enough to overcome those things like the 08 Celtics, and more importantly, you need to all work together (ubuntu) and sacrifice for each, which it doesn't seem like they've done.

He can go elsewhere, but he's not talented enough to beat these Warriors as they are currently constructed unless he puts together the perfect storm of a roster with 3-4 other all stars.
