How so? An actual reporter says it's not happening and a hack says it is. I think it's fairly conclusive.

what time did this article come out??

The bosh situation just became apparent like today.  Can the heat work with the lineup they have to get anywhere?

Maybe not a major trade will transpire between the celts and heat but I can see the heat definitely inquiring about Zeller, Sullinger.  And in turn Danny asking for Winslow. Then such a deal needs to expand so that both teams come out satisfied

the only player Danny would want from the Heat (and that he can get) is Winslow

The chances of Miami parting with Winslow for anything less than a 'homerun' type of deal is somewhere between slim and none.

People need to get over it, Boston is not getting Winslow for anything Ainge would ever be willing to part with.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Lol Blakeley is such a bag of puss.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

danny said it would someone special to get his attention

Winslow is that guy

IF Winslow was already really good Miami would never trade him

He is playing as expected (a rookie).   Lots of ppl have too much of a high expectations on the kid

Now you bring him here and he will explode. Much better fit here than what is going on with the Heat

sully, Lee, young , picks for Winslow

Get rid of Lee too and grab Deng

The Bosh situation came out yesterday. The article is from a few hours ago. Triboy, you're saying things with authority and acting like you have inside info, while insiders are saying you're wrong.

all I'm saying is don't be surprised if this deal happens

Heat losing Bosh is not a small loss. It's big.  Wade's potential last season as a Heat. You think they will let that go to waste?

Not only will I be surprised. I would be shocked. Your right Bosh is a big loss. But come on man, Sully Zelller that might not even guarantee they make the playoffs. Obviously a package for Winslow would be bigger then those players but it makes no sense for the heat to morgatge the future for a at max a first round exit.

Ehh, I don't think there's much they can do about it. Trading Winslow for a star likely is not an option. Beyond that, what assets do they really have?

Not much

And even at the current state , they may still make 7 or 8th place , get eliminated early and then pick in the late teens

What's a double whammy for the heat is if both Wade and Bosh are not back starting next season. I mean Bosh situation sounds very serious and he may never play again. Couple that with Wade leaving. Devastating

If you make the trade (as I propose), have money to retain sully, Zeller and have crowder , dragic, Whiteside (sign up) plus 2 or 3 1sts (2 from Celts) , well now it's easier to get back to contending/attract fas

They owe their pick to Philly. They also only have Whiteside's Early Bird Rights, meaning they'd have to sign him using cap space. Dealing Winslow makes them just as mediocre in the present and exponentially worse in the future.
