Seems highly implausible, but if we're playing cap games and the Heat are suddenly tanking, then something like this works:
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=hfp6th8That's
Deng, McRoberts, Haslem, Udrih & Winslow
<=>
Lee, Turner, Brooklyn #1
Miami saves $4.2M on the cap this year, plus luxury tax implications.
If they do a buyout with Lee, factor that in for a little more wiggle room. Maybe they save $8M and some repeat implications, and have McRoberts off their cap next year as well. They replace Winslow with a top-5 pick this summer... maybe Bender etc with a chance at Ingram/Simmons.
Wade, Dragic, Green/Turner, Stoudemire, Whiteside ... with no bench is going to lose a ton of games. 5 of their 10 man rotation would be gone including Bosh. They need to go all the way to top-10 pick to keep it, which will be a hell of a tank (7 games over the Knicks right now), but at least they have a shot at two top-10 picks.
For Boston, they basically swap Turner (expiring) and the pick for Winslow, and take on McRoberts who is a palatable bench player for the price. Deng can get some run in place of Turner for this year's playoff run, McRoberts as big man insurance and Udrih/Haslem probably waived.
