I can't stand blakely , and he is probably just making this up

But

It does make sense that they are still interested in Winslow .

If you were willing to draft him at #9 in a stronger draft last year , would you consider him a top 5 pick if he was in this years draft?

We know Danny offered 4 1sts to get him .

What if he can offer just 1 first and pick him up with the brk pick .

It does make sense......
From what I heard they were willing to take him at 4.
Taking Winslow over Porzingis and Mudiay would had been pretty dumb.

It's so easy to say this right now. It's the draft, it's a crap shoot.

Nothing dumb about drafting a talent like Winslow, who also went to a darn good college. Where did Porzingis play ?

I could see this trade with Boston and Dallas's 2016 1st being enough to get it done.  They'd want a player like KO who they could use like Bosh, Hunter to shoot the ball, and Lee as the salary dump.  Plus they'd get rid of McRoberts salary, Deng and Winslow is the prize for us.  They get 2 first rounders, and two young guys.  I say it's worth it for us and them.

I disagree. Sullinger is the guy that they would target.

Maybe add young or Hunter in the deal.

They are depleted upfront badly right now

Can totally see Sullinger, Zeller, Lee going

Ok he doesn't have sources, but he does have lots of sauces. Tomato Sauce, Alfredo sauce, and his signature Moo goo gi pan sauce.

Miami ends up with no one left to play SF unless you want to go with Gerald Green.  I think if we take both Winslow and Deng, we need to send back Crowder at a minimum and then maybe Amir Johnson to play PF minutes but if you do that, the $$ doesn't work.  They could throw in McRoberts I guess.  Add in the Dallas pick?  Not sure why they would want Lee.

Miami has traded away first round picks in 2016 (likely conveyed), 2018 (protected 1-7,who knows), and 2021 (unprotected).  It doesn't seem like blood clots are just going to go away.  Bosh is signed through 2018-19 for fairly big money.  Would they really want to trade Winslow when they may be going into a rebuild with a fairly real possibility Bosh retires?  I find it a little hard to believe but assuming they do, I give them:

Crowder
Amir Johnson
Hunter (or just cut Lee to make the roster work)
Dallas #1

for

Winslow
Deng
McRoberts

It is a good trade for Miami if they want to be better now.  It is a good trade for Boston if you love Winslow (I hear Danny does but not sure I do).  Lot of "ifs" in this one.

Danny and CBS imo still really want Winslow

Kid carried Duke to a championship last season as a freshman. Just think about that for a sec

I think some of you is right that crowder would have to be included.

To Miami: Sullinger, Zeller, Lee, Crowder,  1st , 2 2nds (high picks)

To Celtics: Winslow, Deng, Stokes, Johnson

Lineup after trade
Amir
KO
Winslow
AB
IT

Jerebko
Mickey/Stokes
Deng
Smart
Rozier

Heat lineup
Whiteside
Sullinger
Crowder
Wade
Dragic

Can't say I like seeing this new Heat's lineup.    But ppl are going to love Winslow. He is/will turn out to be a souped up version of Crowder.  1 and half inch taller, 2 inch longer wingspan and has a nice little 1 on 1 game. Explosive.  Versatile defender and max effort

Seems highly implausible, but if we're playing cap games and the Heat are suddenly tanking, then something like this works:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=hfp6th8

That's

Deng, McRoberts, Haslem, Udrih & Winslow
<=>
Lee, Turner, Brooklyn #1

Miami saves $4.2M on the cap this year, plus luxury tax implications.
If they do a buyout with Lee, factor that in for a little more wiggle room. Maybe they save $8M and some repeat implications, and have McRoberts off their cap next year as well. They replace Winslow with a top-5 pick this summer... maybe Bender etc with a chance at Ingram/Simmons.

Wade, Dragic, Green/Turner, Stoudemire, Whiteside ... with no bench is going to lose a ton of games. 5 of their 10 man rotation would be gone including Bosh. They need to go all the way to top-10 pick to keep it, which will be a hell of a tank (7 games over the Knicks right now), but at least they have a shot at two top-10 picks.

For Boston, they basically swap Turner (expiring) and the pick for Winslow, and take on McRoberts who is a palatable bench player for the price. Deng can get some run in place of Turner for this year's playoff run, McRoberts as big man insurance and Udrih/Haslem probably waived.
