Boston Celtics @celtics
Al Horford nails a 3 for the East to close the third, bringing them within nine of the West. The score is 145-136 heading into the fourth.

Only non Isaiah Thomas mention by them during the All-Star game.

Yeah, that's very weird.

It could be that the Celtics media are indeed trying to make a story out of this Al Horford rumor, or he's already a Celtic and we just don't know it yet.

But that's definitely weird. Did they interview other East All-Stars?

Both hilarious and awesome.

Really weird. I did not notice those things, but I caught a bit of the game and kept thinking of Horford as a Celtics player. Not sure why beyond the rumors and I don't usually get caught up in those. Maybe the whole thing just got in a lot of people's heads including mine.

More hilarious than anything else.

Yeah it seems like winking more than actually revealing anything.

It's good to see though, I'd probably rather land Horford than Love, and definitely would prefer him over Howard.  He seems like a good fit for our personality and style of play.

I like how both Horford and Isaiah seemed a little exasperated that there wasn't even at least SOME defense played!

LOL

They're definetly trolling. It's plausible he could be a celtic since there aren't any games until 2/18. Which is the day of the deadline.

This.

It's the biggest time of the year for the media.

Might be wishful thinking, but maybe the deal is basically done but the NBA told them not to announce anything as to not upstage the All-Star game and someone in the Celtics media department didn't get the memo. It's a little convienient that they would "mistakenly" put a Celtics logo next to his name.

If someone in the media knew about a virtually done deal, we would know about it too.  No reason for them to hold it back, unless they didn't have good enough sources (in which case they would have no reason to believe there was a done deal).

Yeah we'd very likely have a much stronger set of Horford rumors if the deal was all but completed already to the point the C's media team knew about it.  Doesn't add up.

This was the team media though, so their source is the team.
