  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I have a feeling in my green heart that we will get the #2 pick and take Brandon Ingram.

The next Paul Pierce.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Tp Chamber's, I've been dreaming the same dream.

 Ingram BELONGS here.

players im liking (going from nba draftexpress mock)

Brooklyn pick = ben simmons, brandon ingram (#1 as he suits are team better than simmons), jaylen brown, jakob poetl, jamal murray, henry ellenson,

Mavs pick = timothe luwawu, Furkan Korkmaz (not much I really like in this late lottery - mid 1st round range)

Celtics pick = domantas sabonis, Ante Zizic, Grayson allen (dont know why people dont like him, maybe cuz he is undersized, but he seems to be doing his sig skill of shooting well)

Nobody is talking about AJ Hammons....

Got to say I'm shocked he is not higher on everybody's board.
The guy has post moves, a jumper, blocks shots and defend the post against big guys... Perfect center for our team if you ask me!

Anyways here is my dream scenario :

Extremely not likely but gives you an idea of what I like :

Brooklyn Pic: Simmons/Ingram
Mavs Pic:       Poetl/Murray/Hield
Celtics Pic:     Skal/Jeanne/Ellenson
2nd Rder:       Hammons/Levert/Luwawu/Qi

Would still be very happy if we end up with Murray (Bk), Jeanne (Mavs), Hammons (C's) and Levert or/and Qi (2nd Rders)

I like these picks not bad, but a lot of things would have to happen for us.

Hahaha a lot would have to happen for us?? Like the other 29 GMs having heart attacks on draft day so we get to pick whoever we want?
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

I know we are loaded in the back court with players but does anyone else see a bit of Danny Ainge in Grayson Allen? He's a little shorter and if he was at another school where he was the no.1 option I think he'd be averaging over 20+ per game. He can certainly shoot the rock from anywhere and has some other basketball skills that won't relegate him exclusively to the bench. Basically, would you take him with the C's pick (around 25th), if the Mavs pick is used to trade up or on a draft and stash Euro?

Ingram fits what Brad wants to do offensively, defensively, and off the court. I want him.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

Ingram is listed at 6'9 and 195, and man is he skinny.

He is actually, deceivingly, quite strong, and there are numerous examples of him finishing nicely in traffic.

I think I am leaning toward Ingram over Simmons for the Celtics. His 3 point shooting is just too enticing. He will immediately contribute on Celtics. Of course simmons would as well, but Simmons needs to go to a team with great 3 point shooting already in place. What a shame that he will probably go to a team with awful 3 point shooting. His best hope is to go to Boston, or hope that LA or Philly make a big shooting splash, which of course they probably will.
These guys are so young, it's hard to say what they'll look like in 5 years when they're actually done growing, but Ingram looks like he might be wirey, like KG was. No he'll never bang in the paint but as long as he's able to finish strong around the rim and hold his own on defense, he'll be okay.

Man that Qi kid is raw. This from last month. In the vid you can see him trying to box out. Whoa.

Yeah, I like Hammons, but C's are putting together a style which doesn't suit him. That being said, Bogut on that team is lethal at the moment, due to his elite passing. Getting a big with a natural flair for passing could be good. Probably why I would consider reaching for Poetl at 4 if we have no lotto luck, maybe even 3...
