Lee, Jerebko, our pick this draft, the Dallas pick this draft and the Philly 2nd that will probably be the first pick in the second round.

Mike Gorman seemed pretty familiar with what the rumor is based on and he casually mentioned a few times "rolling the dice" on Howard. It didn't sound like the Celtics would be giving up a whole lot to take a chance on this rental. If the cost is Lee, salary filler, and a non-lottery first round pick, then the idea of Howard in a supporting role makes good sense.

Dude isn't Dwight an unrestricted free agent this summer?  No way am I giving up a ton of assets for that punk *****.  He'll just end up signing in Orlando this summer or something as some misguided attempt to repair his brand and "come home" ala-LeBron.

I'm fine with trading for him at the expense of David Lee, Jerebko and probably the Dallas 1st.  Dwight would improve this team and he has enough talent that gambling on him for a deep playoff run makes some sense... but I'm not giving up any significant long-term pieces for an annoying soul-sucking Dwight Howard rental... I'd rather just keep rooting against him.

The fact this rumor exists kind of shows how desperate Ainge is for consolidation move.  It sure is a seller's market right now.

I'd only go Lee, maybe Sully if I thought I wasn't going to resign him, maybe one of the Young guards (Hunter, Young or Rozier - maybe) and maybe the worst of this year's Dallas or Boston picks.

Is Howard a unrestricted Free Agent at season's end? On Realgm Trade Checker it says he has one year left... Does he have a player's option?

You are aiming way too high with the poll. I'm not giving them more than Sully, Lee, a young guy and a first or two tops.

Howard has been hurt a lot this year and is a free agent at the end of the year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Just want to take a poll of what people are willing to give up/ or not give up . I think I go with C's have to keep Crowder, KO,IT, Smart and at least 2 of the brk picks(2016,2018) .

So my strongest offer would be something like

Lee, Sully , AB,  nets 2017, bos 2016 pick, Hunter

Vote on this, I want to see what c's fans think

All your picks are all over pays.  Honestly I could see the trade being Lee, Jerebko, Rozier and or 2016 1st round.  They're just looking to get something.  All your offers are way over pays.

if Ainge trades any of the BKN picks and/or Smart for Dwight Howard he will lose all credibility as an intelligent business man.

I'd be willing to give up on my belief that Ainge knows what he is doing in exchange for Howard.  He is the least likable player in the NBA and has killed every locker room he has ever been in.  Do not pass go, do not collect 200 missed free throws.

i'd give up tyler zeller and david lee for howard...as long as everyone involved understands that howard is not a go-to offensive player, we don't run plays for him and he's not a focal point on the offensive end.

I can't construct any scenario where I can convince myself that we would be better off for renting Howard for a quarter of a season.  Even if the deal was Lee and Johnson, what good does it do to add picks to that just to get Howard?

Howard would be the wrong guy at the wrong time.

I agee with Sully, Lee and Dallas 1st. Maybe toss in C's lowest two 2nd rounders. That is more than enough for a guy that is all done with Houston.

Two sides to Howard.

I'm not sure I'd give up anything for him, nor am I sure why we even inquired.  Do we really want Howard messing up a half a season with his bs?  No practice time and Howard is known to be a whiner when he is in situations he doesn't like.  He isn't a long term solution.

IF Howard somehow really wants to be here and be a part of things and his injury stuff isn't as bad as it appears like he could actually be a very valuable player for us that's different.  If that's the case I'd give up  a 1st round pick for him.

Howard changes his tune so much I'm not sure I'd bother.
