Regarding Dwight Howard, we know only what the media reports and the snippets we see on TV. Basically, none of us actually know Dwight Howard and we know far less about the happiness and lifestyle of his children and their mothers. I understand that this medium allows for all sorts of judgements to be made and of course I understand that it makes sense that if you father that many children with that many women the likelihood of a nomination for father/boyfriend of the year is low.
But this kind of speculation isn't necessary. He isn't running for president and he's not applying for a job to babysit your children or asking to date your daughter. The less I know about the human beings that play for my favorite teams, or perform my favorite music, or act in my favorites shows/fims... the better. They are entertainers and if they are good at it I am better off not knowing too much about them -- errr, unless they are murderers, rapists, wife-beaters or child-abusers. Otherwise, I'll accept that they are flawed like all of us in their own way and hope they are fun to watch.
