So, Ive been scouring the NBA rosters lists trying to figure out a trade that is not only plausible but also fair for all involved parties. Im curious what you all think of this:
Boston sends-
Sullinger, Hunter, Lee, Celtics 1st 2018/or 2016, Dallas 1st, Phi 2nd
Boston receives-
Gallinari, Mozgov
Cleveland Sends-
Movgov
Cleveland receives-
Hunter, Celtics 1st 2016/18 (whichever they prefer)
Denver sends-
Gallinari
Denver receives-
Sullinger, Lee, Dal 1st, Phil 2nd
Denver gets off the hook for Gal for the rest of his contract. Gets Sully who is a young guy and can back up/ play next to Fareid or at the 4 next to either of their big guys. Gets two lateish picks, and some flexibility.
Cleveland gets a 1st this season and a young bench player to develop. It seems they need a couple more team first guys and Hunter fits that mold. Plus I personally like Young's upside a bit more then i like Hunter so I would be happier moving him. Mozgov is a FA after the season and will most likely walk, so they get some compensation and a bit less of a Tax burden.
Boston gets some front court flexibility. Mozgov has the ability to rebound and play some D in place of Sully, and Gal can shoot lights out next to Kelly in the second unit. Gives us a bit more talent and experience this season the downside is that we will have a bit less cap space with Gal on the books and the option to re-up Moz.
Lineups look something like-
Thomas/Smart
Bradley/Young-Rozier
Crowder/Turner
Amir/Gal/Jerebko/Mickey
Moz/Kelly/Zeller
