My sleeper defender is Isaiah Briscoe from Kentucky, total Bulldog. Ainge guy all the way except he's not very long. Super Strong though, and can penetrate well on offense.

Other than that I'd say Dunn may be the best defender coming out.

Brandon Ingram has been a surprise on defense as well. Coach K said about Ingram he's not low maintenance. He's no maintenance, God I hope we get him.

What I really want to know more about is swing forward defenders or guys that can play three and four.

Poythress.  Somewhat limited offensively, but can easily guard 2-4.  Super quick, strong, and a good shot blocker.  Looks lightning quick for a guy his size and that's with being not very far removed from his ACL tear.

Briscoe is a local kid, played high school in a neighboring town. I have high hopes for him.
Ingram might be the best defender, judging by his wingspan

Kris Dunn - Has potential to be All Defensive Team due to size, quickness and instinct.
Jakob Poeltl - Underrated defender, a viable rim protector with excellent lateral quickness for his size. Has potential to be an excellent PnR defender.
Dragan Bender  - Unbelievable lateral quickness for his size, can potentially guard 1-5 but needs to gain weight in order to effectively defend post players.
Nigel Hayes - A prototypical Swing who has enough lateral quickness to guard the perimeter and strength and legth to defend post players.
Alex Poythress - What CelticSince83 said ^

UNC fans give me the low down on Brice Johnson.

Seems like a great fit here. Is he an awesome defender? I see that he didn't shoot three's at all.
Maybe that's why he's the #48 prospect on draftexpress.

At worst he could replace Jonas Jerkebos minutes minus the three's.

At best I see a the matrix Shawn Marion. He's killing it this year ,17ppg and 10rpg, on .623% shooting, good from the line too at .789% in only 24 minutes per game. His per 40 stats are 25.5ppg 15.5rpg.

I'm all for drafting this kid early in the second round.

Briscoe is a lousy shooter (15% 3pt, 40% ft).  He's not NBA ready and should return to Kentucky for his sophomore season.

Ingram has been really effective as a defender when they put him at the top of the zone.  His length is really disruptive.  Not so sure how he's been man to man.

I think long term he has the chance to be the best defender in this draft. He certainly isn't going to be the best when he comes out this year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I'm not a UNC fan but I've seen him play and he's always played well. He even played well last year. But now he looks so comfortable and in control of things. Don't think he'll be around in the 2nd. Mid 1st if I had to guess. He's long and athletic. Needs to gain a little weight. And you are correct, he has no outside game but he's good at attacking the rim and has shot better from the FT line. I'll have to watch the video on DraftExpress to see why he's ranked so low.

This. Been a huge fan of him, and he reminds me of MKG, with the potential to be just as better in terms of offensive potential.

Interesting comparison.  Put up similar numbers to MKG as a freshman, but now he's a Senior and hasn't progressed.  I know he got hurt last year, but still.  I see the athleticism and defense, but I don't see an offensive upside.
