The Blazers , I thought that they would struggle to win 25 games this season.

the Milwaukee Bucks...I thought they were a playoff team. yeah right. Sometimes the sum of the parts just don't add up anything.

Last year I wrote a post about KO... Rust or Bust?

I was wrong about Kelly, and I love his work ethic.

Royce white

All are busts that I thought would be good for the Celtics

Amir Johnson
Avery Bradley
KO

Didn't think these guys would do much but have been pleasantly surprised at how they've helped

Near the end of preseason I posted that this was the worst defensive Celtics team since 2006.  Also, in another post I wrote that a number of players were incredibly selfish.... thinking of their stat sheet first, then winning.  And, that it was big mistake not resigning Bass.

I was going to wait until the end of the season to post this, but so far, it looks like I was wrong on all accounts. They've turned both their defense and offense totally around since the beginning of preseason. Plus, everyone's shooting has improved. Thus, the need for Bass' consistent offense hasn't been necessary.

My impressions of the rookies wasn't all that great. Still not impressed. Although, Jordan has me intrigued with his tenacious defense and scoring.

I will have to keep this to the recent history or the list will be too long.

I think #1 is that Isaiah Thomas is a better starter than I ever imagined.  I had stated a bunch of times that I thought he would be better off the bench.

I thought the Wizards, Pistons, and Orlando would be better.  Milwaukee too.  I don't understand what is going on with these teams.  It has to be more than just our coach is better.

As far as the Celtics, my prediction was around 0.500 and fighting for the 8th playoff spot.  Looks like they will do better than that but my rationalization is that it is not because the Celtics are better than I thought but because these other teams are worse than I thought.  Although the Celtics are better than I thought, particularly Thomas.  I didn't think he would hold up to starting.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I was wrong about ...
Sully: A few months ago I said no way is this guy going anywhere. I was wrong. He's so overweight. That disqualifies him. You want everyone on the same page which is running. If he wants to stay for the minimum (ha!), then he can be the eleventh man. I still want Pressey back as permanent 15th man.
you were wrong to change your mind on Sully.

Me too.  thought Washington would be better than the C's as well.  thought Dallas would finish between 8th-10th worst record too.

Man that guy is going to be a monster.  It's probably better for his long-term career that they convinced him to get a bone graft.  He could have played this season, but the bone graft will make it less likely for him to re-injure himself.  Buy stock in embiid. I never sold mine. Some re-draft rankings have him not even being selected in the 1st round.  It's pretty funny.  He's probably going to be the centerpiece of that team next year. I listened to a podcast with Bill Simmons and Charles Barkley the other day.  Barkley thinks philly has a shot to make the playoffs next year with embiid.  Lol
