The more I think about it what is the point with the KO comparison. Is it just that they are white? Because they arnt really not close too being the same player, they are both white and can shoot but other then that i wouldn't compare them. Ones a SF and the other is a C.

Galo is much better player then KO. I like Kelly but Danillo is a much more dynamic offense player then Kelly at this point in there careers. Gallo is only 3 years older so I wouldn't put too much into age.

He won't ..already have KO .....

He is older and not needed at all.

Gallo for Bradley, Jerebko, Rozier and Boston draft pick.

Lee and Brooklyn pick for Hayward.

PG Thomas
SG Hayward
SF Crowder
PF Gallo
C Johnson

PG Smart
C Olynyk
PF Sullinger
SF Turner
SG Young
PF Mickey
SG Hunter

Boom.

Like it, but not sure Brooklyn 1st and Lee gets you Hayward. Maybe add Sully or one of the youngons?

If it takes Sullinger to get it done I would still do it.

You're right. He is a SF, but Kelly, he is more like PF, not C. He spends a lot of time behind the arc for PF. But even though, I think they can play together. Problem is Crowder. I would match his position with Danilo. Galo is so agressive in the offense, but on the other hand, Jae is so good and useful on both ends of the floor. If it opens as a trade possibility, it would be great to have them both.

Everybody will want the Nets pick for any player they have of any real value.

I wouldn't pay too much for him, but I'd see him as the main second team scorer and spacer after KO moves up to start.

Because of this rumor I closely watched him during the game....seems to me I like him a lot and think he'd play the 4.  BuBye Sully.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.

Boom.

That's a pretty big overpay for a non All Star, injury plagued guy making $17 million a year next year in Gallinari.
I wouldn't trade him for Bradley straight up.

Hayward is pretty similar. Never going to be an All Star, mediocre defender, high usage on a poor team and is going to want a $20 million x 4 contract. Give up our shot at a top 3 pick for this guy? No thanks.

Would rather spend $35-$37 million on 2 other better players.
That squad you set out ain't winning a championship. Ainge is about acquiring transcendent players for money like that. We have guys like that already in IT and Crowder for literally one third of the salary slots.

Just keeping it real with you, but I like the idea of trying to upgrade- just not with these guys, too mediocre.

They can have:
Lee+Dallas pick+Celtics pick

at the very most.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Gallo would be awesome in green. Since he came back from injury earlier this year, he's been tearing it up. His FG% has been a little spotty but in our system, I can see it going up. Plus, he has an ability to consistently get to the line, which is always a useful skill.

I don't know what it would take to get him, but if we can do it without giving up Smart, IT, Bradley, Crowder, KO, or any of the BKN picks, I'd do it immediately.

Would hurt us rebound wise, but he is a better shooter by a mile and scorer.   Guys might even have to play him honest which might help his team mates.

Defensively, we would lose our guy best at pushing guys out of position.
