Smoke and mirrors. He may be making a concerted effort about Love because he's the top talent who's potentially available in trade, but I'm sure there's a good handful of players he'd rather want ;)

KO is becoming a cheaper, more defensive alternative to Love.  And at this point,  quite frankly I'd rather ride with KO than trade for Love. To be honest i hope we take the team development route with this rebuild and not just get trade happy...

Got to bring another sf in, if you did trade Crowder.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Bradley and Amir works money wise. Add the Dallas first and let's make a deal.

Add Sullinger/Young to the deal...and get Mozgov---who they really ain't using anyway.

Amir/Bradley/Sully/Young/Dallas Pick/2-2106 2nd rounders...for
Love/Mozgov.

Really wouldn't want to see Jae Crowder on the same team as LeBron. Jae is such a Celtic thru and thru and want him on the team to beat LeBron. The only other guys i wouldn't want to go in a deal for Love is Marcus and IT. Other than that they cant take whatever player and OUR pick not BKN's.

We almost HAVE to have Amir if we're getting Love, that is unless Danny is planning on a swing for a guy like Noel shortly after that. I'd be down with a Noel/Love/Crowder frontcourt. There's a lot of versatility there.

If we did somehow end up with Love, he'd be utilized a LOT better than he is in CLE.

He is considerably better than he's looked there, especially since Kyrie has returned.

KLove reminds me of a 57 Chevy just sitting in someone's garage....never driven....barely driven in CLE, thus far.

If he somehow ends up in BOS I won't complain.

I wouldn't say have tp Potter, just trying to Keep Crowder and pick up Love. We could free Mickey, or make another move, plus we still have are Sumo wrestler Sully.

 Kelly
 Love
 Crowder
 Smart
 Thomas

Sully, Zeller, Jonas, Mickey for back up bigs.

That's a lot of shooting and spacing that's for sure.

I agree that KO is improving, and I'd also like to hang on to him, but is he ever going to approach what Love can do in the scoring and rebounding departments?

Olynyk will never be as good as Love in finishing around the hoop and rebounding. Small hands. Pay attention to how he shoots his layups -- he can barely palm the ball.

Let alone rebounding. I think hand size is extremely helpful in that area, too, e.g. Rondo, Sully, etc.

Does anyone else want Love though?

Lakers don't have anything to offer Cleveland.  Not sure Orlando does either.

We're one of the only teams with young, defensive minded wings on reasonable contracts --- so no need to overpay for Love, imo.

Yeah, small hands really killed Moses Malone and Dave Cowens' ability to finish and rebound. LOL.

Danny....

Is looking for "Love "

in all the wrong places ....

He should be on the phone about Nerlins

Crowder would exactly a fit for Cavs ......but NO Way I'd trade Crowder or Smart for Love.
