So this year's group has been pretty entertaining, with many pleasant surprises popping up this year and only a few disappointments. My personal fave to watch this year has been Marcus Smart. The D has obviously been awesome, the rebounds have been clutch, and the offense...well, it's a work in progress. But when it's working, it's pretty awesome to watch.

Who's been your fave Celtic to watch this year? I'm not asking about how valuable they are to the team, or whether they should be starting or getting more minutes. I'm talking from a pure entertainment/ watching standpoint. Who do u look forward to seeing the most?

Smart ....like Rondo in that he doesn't have to really score a lot to impact the game .

It's just the beginning for him. his health has been so bad two steps forward , then a step backward to catch back up.

Love watching the Celtics with Smart on the court with Crowder

I always enjoy the chance to see the young guys with some potential that usually don't get any minutes like Rozier and Young, but that's mostly just because I hardly ever get to see them.

Of the guys that actually play, I enjoy Smart the most by far.  The toughness and intensity is always there and his skills are really coming around.  He is a lot of fun because we still don't know what he can become.  The sky is the limit and every game is like a research experiment.

Olynyk is my second favorite to watch.  He is still improving and his offensive game is pretty amazing when he has it going.

I don't have much of an attachment to many, if any, of the current players.  I like watching Thomas the best.

No one player stands out over the rest, but I like the following guys when they get going:

Crowder and Smart, because of their all out style of play.

Kelly for his finesse and the flashes of potential he shows when he gets it going.

Thomas is the most polarizing for me.  He can be the best player on the team, and best scoring option, but also has shown a little tendency for hero ball at the end of close games.  For me, he is one of those "when he is good he is great" type of players.

I may get some slack for this, but Turner can be a lot of fun to watch on his GOOD nights.  All those old school mid range jumpers and fancy reverse layups are fun to see.  Another guy that is great when he is on his game.  Remember that game winner in the paint against Atlanta?

Yeah, I think KO comes second for me as well (after Smart). When he's on his game, and thankfully he's been finding more consistency this year, it's a joy to watch.

Thomas is an absolute anomaly. Pretty amazing offensive player to watch.

Watching Olynyk drive from the top of the key is like watching paint dry, but as long as the ball goes in -- don't care.

This is something I have thought about for the past week. I like the team but no 1 player sticks out to me. I'm not sure at this point Smart is an NBA starter and his lack of offense doesn't excite me. As for IT it's fun to watch him in the regular season but I have zero believe in him in the post season. I don't think a team playing him 30 mpg is a threat to win anything so seeing him out there as our best offensive player is scary and tells me how far away we are.

I'd like to see the young guys more but I guess we are not going to see them until after the trade deadline or worse next year.

Smart I always love watching.  Has his weaknesses but love his effort and he is incredible to watch defend.  The way he moves his feet, judges what's coming, how he deals with bigger players, how he strips the ball, how he steals passes without really gambling.

Olynyk when he is on is fantastic to watch.  Just smart plays all around and skill you don't see from 7 foot players.

Thomas is fun but at times a little ugly.  I also hate watching him honestly carry quite a bit but that's how they call the games.

When Thomas is on, he's a joy to watch.  When he's off, its horrendous.

Hopefully a year from now, I'm saying Simmons or Ingram.
