They're now 8th in the West, just ahead of Utah and they've posted 5 wins in a row.

Rondo is playing great, Cousins is playing great. Rondo is making guys like Omri Casspi look good.

Do they make the playoffs ahead of the Jazz/Blazers?

I think they do unless Rondo/Cousins go down with injury.

I have really mixed feelings about rooting for the kings. RR is my favorite non celtic but DMC is just so good and if things could only go wrong there we might be able to get him. Them winning takes away any DMC to Boston chances.

I think they make the playoffs. And I think they make the 7th seed to avoid golden state. I don't think making the playoffs affects our chances at Cousins. Anything that happens would be at draft time, so making the playoffs won't impact their decision on whether this core has a future or not

Too much Boogie injury.  Not enough 2 guard help. (B Mac and Bellinelli not carrying weight).  New team with WCS a non entity.

Casspi has been great. And now WCS is becoming a contributor.  They are a Middleton/Bradley/Korver/Smart/Reddick/etc. two guard away from being an extremely dangerous team...

It comes down to DMC staying healthy.  He gets hit *a lot*, and it's easy to pick up nagging injuries that way.  He's played through injuries to his foot and his back, but that type of thing can be re-aggravated.

The Kings are 19-16 with him in the lineup, and 1-7 when he sits.
