What's so terrible about watching/ cheering for this team as it is? Yes, I get they won't go deep this current season (barring some miracle).

I for one love it. They're in every game, and when they lose its usually in the last 5 mins. I enjoy watching the kids improve.. Have you noticed KO, AB, Marcus, IT, even Sully's improvement from the beginning of the season? It's not happening at warp speed, but they are improving, and soon they'll learn how to close out games... Just in time for the post season. 

Be patient and give them time to evolve.

I'm tired of it too. I get waiting and some teams don't wanna deal but I hope Danny puts everything into getting a consistent team

Honestly, though I enjoy watching this team play and I like most of the young players Ainge has accumulated, if it were not for the Brooklyn picks I'd be a lot more down on the current state of affairs. They're pretty much on the treadmill right now, too good to tank and too bad to beat the top seeds they will undoubtedly face in the playoffs.

On the plus side, certain players have shown improvement here such as Thomas, Crowder, and Olynyk, which shows that the organization has been developing and utilizing young players effectively. Stevens is a strong x-factor in possibly recruiting a star to play here, so that's also good. Still, I'm not sure that's enough to get a top talent here and that's why I'm still looking at the Brooklyn picks as the more likely source of a star.

Cavs are twenty eight in pace of games .   Just incredibly boring team .  ......it could a more fun team with Irving , love and bunch of young guys like Wiggins .  Instead LeBron wants to play lame walk it I up the court himself ....then either he or Irving shots ......lame lame lame

I like watching the young guys play basketball the CORRECT team way ....win or lose I'm enjoying the the fast paced tuff defense basketball.

I want DA to make moves but quality not quantity.    Trade a lot of assets for a young star like Anthony Davis.  Who can get and down the court .  Not drag feet Dwight Howard types .

We've improved every year of our currently 3 year rebuild. That's not "on the treadmill". And the only reason we've made a lot of these moves (Thomas, Johnson, etc.) is because we have those Brooklyn picks.

Ainge has known for some time that those Picks were likely top-10. The flexibility that affords us is HUGE. If we were gonna tank this year, we'd have to be as bad as Brooklyn or worse to get a pick as high as the one were getting from them. The fact that we've been able to go ahead and build a good, young improving playoff-caliber team while still getting a top lottery pick is due to that Brooklyn trade.

If that deal hadn't been made, this team would look very different. I'm fairly sure of that.

Rebuilding stinks, Boston is a lucky sports town that has good success in most major sports.   Most towns are in constant rebuilding phase.   I like our team good or bad, but we are prefer when we are winning.

Sure, there will be room on the wagon, when you come back, always is....

but I keep reading that da wants to rebuild again and trade crowder an IT. this can't keep going on. we are in the playoff position to play the cavs. how will that go?

We made the playoffs last year and on pace to to this year. We have a top 5 Gm and top 5 coach. . It would take an amazing team to beat the Warriors or Spurs this year. We may even make the ECF this year with this bunch with a move or an injury to another team.

I think we won't win that series.   I could see us winning a game or two this year though and not getting swept.
