IT would depend on a lot of things.  But weird to think about a front line of Love, Sully and KO and Mickey roaming around.  With Smart, Bradley and Isaiah as well as Rozier, james young and Rj. Big and small.  That could make for some interesting lineups.

KO playing some small forward is not out of the question with that makeup.

I like it.  It's thinking big.

I would probably sell the farm as far as draft picks and Crowder for this. Reupp Sully for Crowder money instead of spending on both him and Crowder.

I brought up trading Amir and Crowder and picks for a superstar and they might be attractive to a contender in another thread so this goes along with that.  Plus it's kevin love.

Speaking of Gallo, the team would be better off not trading Crowder, trading for Gallo, and then finding an agile defensive center (e.g. Noel) to put next to Gallo.

Point being, Gallo and Love ideally play the same role.  You install them at PF and put defensive guys around them who can cover their deficiencies.

Also, issue with acquiring either is that they probably could not share the floor with Kelly Olynyk, so then you'd have to trade Kelly.

Why do we assume that Amir Johnson isn't this guy? There's really no one in 2016 FA that would be BETTER than Amir..
Draft-wise, maybe Damien Jones from Vanderbilt. But I'm not sure about lateral quickness.
Dragan Bender is definitely agile enough, but not sure how physical/strong he would be as the Center.

Let me preface this by saying I LOVE Amir.  I watched him FRESH out of high school on many occasions with the Fayetteville Patriots when my son and I would drive two hours from Albemarle to see them play!!!

Unfortunately, Johnson's feet and ankles are SHOT.  If WISH they weren't, but they are.  He has virtually NO laterally quickness any more.  That being said, he is such a SMART defender that he put up some incredible defensive RPM stats in spite of these facts!!!

If Cuban would hurry up with these HGH studies and get those approved quickly, Amir could be a KG level defender:-)))))))

Any chance we knowingly take a sidestep on something like this? Say we add Love for Crowder and some non-Nets pick and whatever filler is required. Maybe we don't add another SF and just ride out the rest of the season with some combo of Turner, James Young, RJ Hunter and, I guess, JJ at the 3. Do we bank on that Nets pick yielding us a solid prospect at the 3 - if not Simmons then Ingram or Jaylen Brown? Then we get a look at Young and Hunter, have a chance to move our other bigs and get a chance to evolve?? Thoughts??

IT would be interesting how Cleveland would be looking to build. Pairing Crowder and Lebron is pretty interesting.  Amir is a nice filler player but has some long term injury concerns but could help that team as it stands more than us I feel. They have Thompson.  With picks and if Love really likes our situation they might do it.  Cleveland would be building another way ala Jordan and Pippen. With Thompson as their big man. Amir as a nice throw in and picks for the future to make moves.

Simmons recently suggested a Love for McCallum deal, straight up. It's actually surprisingly sensible for both teams on a number of levels.

What I don't like about this move is I still almost feel like best case is just staying put and drafting. Unless we stay put with just this move.  I'm stuck on Sully here a bit because I feel like he still has a lot of potential.  Moving him down the road if we made this I'm not so sure.  It's somewhat redundant that way. Love is obviously in a class by himself and way above Sully right now.  But part of me if we are patient feels like we can just draft.

I still think I'd make this move though. Getting a player like Kevin Love doesn't happen very often.
