now its avery's turn to hit trade posts,i think avery's hip injury just shows how injuries somewhere else effect ones shooting
marcus knee was major and effected his shooting ,isaiah had a slight wrist issue that effected his shot and turners knee almost had him sit out and that guy is durable-
these guys are so skilled certain injuries can throw off their shot as they alter to adjust to pain or swelling -

I call BS on this one.   Bird could still shoot with a bad back at a quite high level.   While he is not the norm, excuse making for lack of mental toughness is not something we as a fanbase should endorse.   Plenty of guys played hurt and still hit shots in the course of the league.

were you a good shooter-i was and my injuries effected my shot,my first step ,how i took off ,how i landed and a niggly sprained wrist effected my shot and release
-isaiah is a 90% foul shooter what was his % when he came back, how much did kellys 3% go down when he came back from a sprained ankle, he had trouble grabbing the rim
-bradly was shooting really well till he went off with a hip pointer-two of the players i mentioned isaiah and smart are fearless-so no excuses but if you miss 18 games it takes time even getting your wind
this is a stat driven forum, these are not excuses but it seems you are determined not to allow a player to recover or overlook a drop off in %

At the same time, we don't have all those players under a microscope chronicling when they play well and when they struggle and how that correlates to them being hurt at the time or not.

I do agree part of the process of being an NBA player is learning how to play hurt. Most don't.

Completely agree. Not only do injuries effect shooting while a player is injured, if they have to sit out games it can cause a player to lose his rhythm.

Bradley is the perfect example of this. He was shooting flames before he got hurt, came back and couldn't throw a stone in the ocean.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

how many times have you heard of shots and free throws being short from lack of game reps -in marcus's case fingers ripped out of joint, a rare dislocated knee out 17 games and playing hurt most the  last season with high ankle sprain
-tommy mentioned marcus didn't have his lift and also defensive timing-
you have a right to your opinion
my wife is allways saying that about hers but it doesn't make you right
