I am shocked/disappointed in how many guys here under-value Bradley on this team, both in terms of his improved shooting, his defense and his contract.

I would not trade him straight up for Rudy Gay.

I'm not sure we're undervaluing him, but instead looking objectively at his position and the makeup of our roster. We have invested 1st rd picks on 4 guys (Smart, Rozier, Hunter, and Young) that can man the 2 spot, but have nobody outside of Crowder with the size and strength to play the 3/4. I love Bradley's game, attitude, and contract and would feel differently if our roster breakdown were different.

Very good point Eddie. Tp. At some point we have to move a little guy for a Forward.

You realize how quickly this could spiral with comments like that based on nothing but a difference of opinion? And opinions, oh, how they change. Below was your take on Bradley.

I'd like to see him traded to a lottery team for a 2nd round pick, then Keith Bogans signed. Wings on this team need to be able to shoot -- simple as that.

This year it is has been a lot of watching other teams threads.  I think it is bad karma for us to wish ill on another team.

So you're giving away two starters

I think we will be giving away one of them.   I think Ainge likes Bradley.   But I would not call either of these high quality starters right now.  Bradley is decent though and Sully can always rebound but he is not a quality starter most nights.

Spiral? In what way? Suggesting the Cs trade 2 above replacement players and a pick -- all 3 of which are worth far more than Gay -- as a collection for Gay is completely absurd.

Bradley's a fine role player 5 years after that post. Trading him as rookie for a pick so we could sign a vet in our last effort to squeeze a championship out of the Big 3 was hardly controversial. And the reality is that the Cs wouldn't really be in any different place without him, since he's pretty average, and that pick could have turned into a player of value.

But you digging around in my post history is pretty pathetic. That's kinda all you got, huh? Are you actually defending the suggested trade, or just being glib?
