For Lee and Zeller. Has anyone ever seen a situation like this before?

These guys must be depressed. You can see it on Zellers face game after game

I wouldn't mind if they looked depressed on another team.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Wouldn't be surprised if Zeller quietly has asked for a trade already

i wonder how many weeks it will be until Lee demands a trade. I say 2 more weeks riding the pine.

The issue is

Ainge: Lee I know you want out, but nobody wants you

I think Zeller's size would be useful defending the low post.

probably no more so than Mickey who is still behind these 2 on the depth chart

Mickey is only behind until one or both are traded

The thing is Lee got chances and did not play well, Zeller wasn't that bad, and did not hurt the team.
If Zeller given the chance he can be as productive as the previous season IMO.
In Zeller's case we are hurting his chances for nice contract next year.

I hate to say this, but I think this situation has eroded some of the players confidence in Brad's ability to evaluate talent.  He was flat out wrong with that opening night starting 5.

I'm sure each of the bigs has their own bone to pick with coach.  Amir, Jonas & Sully especially.

I couldn't figure out how to add my artistic photo-shop of a fork being stuck into Lee for a profile signature. I vote yes that David Lee is trash.

The cost of amazing "depth" is that people are going to be disappointed with their minutes. It also is a little improbable that the Celtics have been such a healthy team this season, thus having less minutes to go around.

David Lee got plenty of chances and he stunk. He's not a part of the future so I don't think it matters if he's sulky. It would be nice if he were traded somewhere where he could get minutes but his contract is hard to move and it isn't Ainge's job to make sure his feelings aren't hurt.
