I think this team may be broken.

Yep I agree.  You can't go 1-6 with a 5 game losing streak in January and maintain that everything is OK.

Good thing we got the Pacers tomorrow.  :'(
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

It's frustrating that Porzingis is already so much better than KO... He has better length but outside of that I don't see why KO can't at least be halfway on his level... says a lot about mentality and how annoying it is that if KO actually played to his potential we'd be in a better place

That little spat at the end of the 1st half will light a fire under the Celts, book it.  10 pt lead is nothing in the NBA.  We'll have the lead by the end of the 3rd quarter.

I think IT, Crowder, and Smart are the 3 guys on this team that have a place on a contender, with a guy like KO or Sully off the bench. Just need another real piece or two...

Its unfortunate but the team really had something going earlier this year.  I think this play since Christmas has solidified Danny is trading half the team.

If this team didn't have IT doing some scoring, they'd average 75 points a game.

And people hate IT... yeah he's a ballhog sometimes but it's hard not to be when no one on your team can score

Kelly is timid. He's so frightened to make a mistake. Kelly needs to shoot the ball with confidence.

I would definitely be willing to suck for the rest of the year if we could have a Porzingis.

Even sucking for the rest of the year would by no means guarantee getting a guy like that.

But yeah, I hear you.

Just remember, Knicks fans waited over a decade for a young savior type prospect like that to finally come along.

With any luck, we won't have to wait that long.

Of course not. If we got the number one pick there's no guarantee he'd be as good as the Zinger. He and KAT have proven to be special prospects.

The good news is that we're already guaranteed our own Porzingis in the draft. (By draft position I mean, no guarantee that he'll be as good.)

The question is whether we want to suck for the rest of the season to get our own Myles Turner. It might be as simple as trading away Isaiah Thomas.

Great words from a great man

What potential?
KO is trade bait. No inside game to speak of and not much better on the D end.
Yes, at times you see potential, in the end another Jeff Green.
Inconsistency cannot be coached up...

Porzingis is a much better player, but KO is the better playmaker - something that is often overlooked when talking about solid shooting big guys. Zinger also has a scorer's mentality, something that KO just most likely will never develop. Even on his made three, he was hesitant.

Melo's ankle is playing better defense on him than us
You give up 60 in a half, you're not trying.
