Honestly if we trade Isaiah and Crowder what are we trading them for?  Similar players? A draft pick? Lebron as he's in the middle of leading hte eastern conference? Sure there is always that small chance someone might trade us Anthony Davis but what is his team doing?  Why would they do that?

We traded a draft pick for Isaiah and have more been maximizing that trade so far. We lost to an experienced Grizzlies team.  We are still young and players don't know their roles at times even still.

We had an easy schedule the second half last year in a weaker Eastern Conference.  We are on a tough road trip and lost a couple bunnies at home.  We have to play better.

I love how  people just throw this stuff out there with no plan in mind.

If we move IT or Ceowder or AB it would be for prospects and young players.

I think it's dumb to commit to moving these guys but if you can get someone who looks like a potential star you pull the trogger

We have enough prospects and young players.  We traded a draft pick for Isaiah. Why would ainge now do the opposite of that?

He made that trade and it's been more than good.

Isaiah, Bradley and Crowder are young players.

I can see looking for more potential somewhere but at the same time we have all these picks for that.  People make no sense.

Isaiah is not Rondo.  Crowder is not Antoine.  Bradley is not Ray Allen here.  They are young players on good contracts and are maximizing their potential.

I can see packaging a couple of guys for better. But again what?

We have a million picks as it stands.

We have a million picks as it stands.   If we trade these guys for picks it would most likely be to a contender anyways. If a young team wants to give us their top pick for one of these guys sure but again that has to be out there and it has to be for a player worth developing who is better. Ainge traded for these guys based on their upside and drafted bradley for that reason as well.

If we trade them for a young stud sure but it has to be out there and something better.

If Ainge can take Isaiah traded a late pick for him and can turn that into a top pick that's great but it has to be out there.

I could see Saric or Parker or maybe Hezonja

Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Ainge stole Crowder and Isaiah Thomas.  A team that would want them is a team in the playoff hunt or a team looking to take that next step. Which is basically us.  They arent going to trade their good plaeyrs for our good players.  Trades are made to improve.  A young team with a top pick isnt necessarily going to trade it for a guy like that either.

Players we could get aren't better than Crowder or Isaiah or Bradley either.

We have to play better.  STevens is looking a bit frustrated for the first time I've seen him that way which is good.  What we do on the court actually matters for once.

We are not fine. We are not growing in a positive way. We are playing poorly when we actually have the lead for most of the game.

We do not have exceptional players. No stars and our youngsters when they finnally are grown up and NBA matured, they will not be better than any of the other teams' younger players.

The only reason our team does not have a really bad losing record is coach Brad Stevens and some of our good role players are playing above themselves.

If you ask, who on our team is a star player? You can not say anyone's name. If you did, you are too homer.

We do not need more draft picks, we do not need to get younger. We do need some all-stars or a superstar type player.

Stop targeting and settling for being "fine" which we are not. We should be aiming for better than fine and we should never settle until we win chips!!

I'm not settling. I'm actually quite the opposite. I think Ainge will make the right trades. I'm actually just very picky on what that actually is.

If you read my posts they basically are that.  No, no and no.  When I see it i'll say yes.  I'm not trading our guys on a whim and just because we blew a few bunnies and lost to an experienced team around midseason.

Yes this team needs to improve. HOw we do that I am very picky.

Shortly into the 3rd quarter we were up by 21 points and the Celtics literally threw the game away from there. if Boston had brought pressure from that point, Memphis would have folded and we could have cruised the 4th quarter. the Celtics have not learned how to put their foot on their opponents neck when they're down. they have let quite a few games get away from them with shoddy play. BS might have to coach a sterner game to get these guys to listen because Mr. nice guy doesn't seem to be getting it done anymore!!!

We can't settle in trades or our play. I'll explain why.  these are two trades I've considered.

Crowder and Bradley for a guy like Middleton.

In theory this trade makes a lot of sense. It would give us a starting 5 of Isaiah, Smart, Middleton, KO and Amir with Turner and Rozier off the bench  as well as Mickey being given a shot.

At the same time why are we selling ourselves short when we dont know where we are drafting yet.  If we can get Simmons or one of these young guys like Ingram why do we need middleton?

He'd fit well here and give us another option to Isaiah but we don't want to sell ourselves short. Young players also take time to develop as well so we might not even target a player like that.  We might go after someone else.

We could also try to dump off guys like Turner and  Jerebko for a guy like Ryan Anderson but the numbers don't match.  It would give us some help in the interm but why hurt the development of guys liek KO for a one year playoff run when we can just let Turner and Jerebko expire at the end of the year.

There is a lot of stuff that goes into this and we don't want to sell ourselves short is all. Any other trade i've heard really makes very little sense at all.  Who knows if teams would even do these nevermind what else is out there.

If ainge can find the right moves he will but there is a lot that goes into finding the right deals. We can't be so quick to trade off our own guys.  We are trying to build a team and a style of play and Ainge has been drafting and building this that way for a while now.

It took years for Bradley and Crowder to get to this level as well.  People are assuming Mickey and Rozier can just jump right in. EVeryoone is different but it takes guys a bit to develop.  We can't just be trading off our best  players and tanking the season. That's how you lose guys. That's not how you build.  It really depends on guys like that and a lot of things. They'd have to be deemed ready.

To the average fan they don't think about what they are saying.  I don't know what it is but most fans just say what they feel at any given moment and it's absurd.

They aren't thinking ahead or seeing the bigger picture or evaluating the whole thing.
