If we landed the fourth or fifth pick would you be interested in this scenario. One of these bigs falls in the draft and with some moving with our picks we are able to Draft..

 Jakob Poeltl
 Henry Ellenson
 Caris Levert

This draft would transform our frontcourt outlook for years to come you could argue that it would need more athleticism up front, however we still have Mickey, and Ellenson is an interesting athlete who can really handle, grab a rebound and go.

Levert is a true Jack of all traits, 6'7" can really do it all, defend, shoot, handle, pass, rebound, although does have an injury history.

Levert would replace Turner's value and maybe even add a go to wing scorer.

So would you be happy with this draft Haul.

Not convinced on Poeltl. I'd be disappointed if we came out of this draft with him as our top pick.

Well how about if Jakob is the slider and we pick up Ellenson with the first pick.

Jakob is really good though man, not sure how it will translate, but he is super smart and skilled.

Not a knock on either of these players but I think Celtics fans, myself included,  are getting sick of drafting "smart", "clever", "skilled" players with no athleticism (KO, Sully). These seem to be nicer ways of saying "soft", "unathletic", and "lacking upside". Don't get me wrong, but I think Ainge should pick up a big with athleticism if he takes a big. I'm just sick of taking these unathletic guys with little to no potential in a league full of Rudy Goberts and DeAndre Jordans.

But Jakob is the second best center in the draft other than Bender. He's a skilled two way player unlike Rudy Gobert and Deandre Jordan.

Yeah I see where you're coming from. Just think that it's time Ainge takes a gamble on someone with star potential instead of going for the safe but lower upside guy.

I don't think Jordan or Gobert will reach the offensive potential that Potel has.

 Bender is not a Center.

Henry is a good athlete with crazy handles. And he can shoot.

We should be trading quantity for quality, and not vice versa like your proposal.   Would rather see us package our pick and others/players to move up.

I saw Ellenson last week and he showed some perimeter potential but really struggled inside against a physical opponent.  That may come, but you're definitely projecting there.  Poetl looks like a good late lottery pick.

rather draft another guard than those guys and trade one of the ones we already have. Dunn is quite a good look at #5

Couldn't we just draft these guys
Poetl is a lottery player so it wouldn't be out of his range to draft

And Levert has dropped to around 20s which could be picked by us or with mavs pick

I actually like JP but am also tired of "smart, clever and skilled." My personal favorite is "good basketball IQ."

Or worse yet, athletes not basketball players.
