  Ainge hasn't "burned" himself. I keep seeing these threads criticizing Danny for somehow making a near-fatal mistake by acquiring too many draft picks, like that was some tactical mistake. It wasn't. If he can't turn those picks into another Ray/KG summer, remember that we wouldn't somehow be better off with fewer assets.

I think if anything ainge has stockpiled all these picks but he has put us in a position where we have to make moves and get a guy where had he just drafted Bobby Portis and not listened to the fans on sullinger.  Ainge has a tendency to do this and tries to go big instead of just doing the smart thing sometimes.
