on offense, the celtics had a bad, bad shooting night at 39%. (can you say "****ty"?) i counted at least 5-6 layups that simply missed. in a three point loss, the looms large. from 3 point range it was worse than bad. just check the box score and prepare to shake your head.
We are not a good shooting team, my friend. While it is true, a lot of guys are stinking at shooting this year. Some of them have been historically bad shooters and show no sign of improvement.

We often live by the three and die by the three. The last five games we have been cold from down town. We do not have many good three point shooters. Some guys need to be told not to shoot them period. We have some guys who think they are all world, and some who take bad shots.
A lot of our guys are not especially solid shooters at their position.

pf Amir does not take enough shots to qualify in leaders, and to be honest we do not use him enough. He is shooting 56% from the field
33rd in scoring 30th best FG% in league
c Sullinger 16th in qualified FG at 42% too low to register on three point percentage
17th in scoring. 268Th FG% in the league
These are qualified stats to * To qualify, a player must be on pace for 300 field goals made.
We need to clearly use Sullinger less and Amir more. We need to get better bigs or get Amir to shoot more.
