Guy's you would like to draft or would not like to draft next year.

I'm not going to list Simmons cause of course I'd like to have the best prospect since Wiggins.

 Yes

 Ingram
 Jaylen Brown
 Jakob Poeltl
 Bacon
 Valentine
 Kris's Dunn
 Henry Ellenson

 Don't want.

Skal Labissiere.  Man has he been bad.
 Jamal Murray.  Undersized two guard.
 Kormaz.              6'7" 185 pound Euro.
 Bender.               Not with Brooklyn's pick.

I disagree with you about Murray he has the potential to be the 3rd best player in this draft. I just about agree with everything else; I still have hope that Skal finds his way.

Dennis I do like Murray's talent, its that if we are going to draft another 6'3" or under guy, than please take a pure point like Dunn.

I worry about Murray's athleticism. I see him as a good player but not one with a huge ceiling because he doesn't have elite quickness or size.

I really hope the best players on the board aren't Dunn and Murray since picking another guard would be a mistake IMO. If we are picking in the 5-7 range (which I think is possible due to Phoenix going into tank mode) then choosing between Dunn/Murray is a distinct possibility.

I probably would prefer Poeltl, Ellenson and Diallo to those two simply because drafting a point or a combo guard doesn't make sense for this team.

IF the C's are able to pick between Skal and Bender I'll be happy. Skal is struggling because they have him playing as a post big, in the NBA he's going to be a perimeter based offensive big.

Bender looks so fluid running and has already shown the ability to knock down shots and switch onto guards in the pick and roll. He has a lot of upside but it's going to take a while.

I'm worried that there isn't much place for a player like him in the league today.

Players I like:
Ingram
Jaylen Brown
Jamal Murray
Korkmaz
Skal Labissiere if we can get him with the 11th pick or later.  He's slipping too much now.
Zhou Qi with the 20th pick or later (if he can add muscle, I think he can be serviceable. He has a legit skill set.)
Denzel Washington if we trade away a bunch of guys and picks and just need NBA ready players late in the draft.
Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk, Paul Zisper, Troy Williams, Buddy Hield - These are the guys I like with the Philadelphia 1st overall pick in the second round

Players I don't like:
Dragan Bender - I usually like Euros, but he's not getting any run from his team, even against the bad Israeli teams
Kris Dunn - I think he'll be good, but we have such a log jam there already
Henry Ellison - booooring
Cheick Diallo - I know, he has good wingspan, but I am so sick of 6'8" PFs and Cs being drafted by Danny.  It's just a bad taste in my mouth now.

Not sure why people get so down on Bender. He doesn't seem to have any weaknesses at all. Not getting much PT but that's because he's 18 y.o. playing for a good team.

Bender is 16 months younger than Simmons. Have to keep that in mind when evaluating these guys.

I liked Porzingis because he was in a better league and already averaging like 20+ minutes a game on a good team at the same age.  He has better size than Bender and looked better when he played in games last year.  Now everyone is saying Bender is going to be good because Porzingis is good.  It doesn't really work that way.  I think there's a chance that Bender ends up good, it's just that it's a much bigger risk than you'd think.  The drop from pick 2 to pick 3 is huge in this draft.

Also - yes, Bender's team is very good and are very competitive in the Euroleague.  HOWEVER, the Israeli League as a whole is pretty bad.  They won't even give him minutes vs the 76ers of that league, essentially.

TP...couldn't agree more. People are attributing Benders flaws to outside circumstances he cant control, and all of his positives to his own effort. Basically ignoring all the flaws and magnifying all his strengths. In my mind if he can't get playing time in an inferior league, what business does he have in the NBA?
