Honestly how many wins more would D Green add

 Draymond Green. If we just had him what impact would it have on our team and are win Total.

 Keep in mind that he covers Anthony Davis as well as anyone can. Hes 6th in the NBA in assists, he's the spiritual leader of the Warrior's. Not a star but man he's awesome.

 I say with him we win 53 games this year. Without him 45 wins this year.

Sorry but this thread made me lol. He is playing on a stacked team half his offense is bunnies and the players around him can score at top 5 levels. He has good defense but he is equally out of position a lot on over pursuits. So I don't see him as a lock down defender just scrappy. In GS he gets a lot of calls else where it would be a different story. Is he worth the max? The "under 6 years" max sure but not a vet max.

I think Green's a great player but he's got it pretty good on the GSW.
Playing with Curry and Thompson/Barnes has put him in a unique position to succeed.
I think the spacing that he gets, and the assists he gets- are completely reliant on Curry demanding doubles and panic switches.

What you can't deny the guy is that he's added that very reliable three point shot, improved his defense and improved his passing. Basically all aspects of his game have been worked on and improved.

If he was on another team with a lot of three point threats, would he average 16-18 ppg? Maybe. Would he average 7 assists? maybe.
But when you're passing to Curry and Thompson and Barnes all night, it makes your life much easier to get easy layups, size mismatches and a much higher assist conversion% than on other teams.

People are calling him a top 10 player which I don't really agree with, but he's probably a top 15-20 player. His situation helps him out more than anything, but he's certainly making the most of that situation and only a great player with an incredible work ethic can go from a 2nd round pick to being a top 20 NBA player and key piece to their championship chances.

If you replaced Green with Ersan Ilyasova or Markief Morris, would they still win a championship? Probably, but it would be a hell of a lot harder than without him.

What's amazing is that this is only his fourth season in the NBA. He's only going to get better.

I don't know how many wins he would add but it would be a significant number.  I love his mentality.  He reminds me of Noah a couple years ago when he had his great season.  He is a winner and does all of the little things without needing to score 20 per game.

Green entered the NBA knowing he'd have to fight for a role, and he did just that by taking advantage of his most exceptional qualities. Like many second round picks, Green's greatest opportunity to gain a foothold on his team would be by building relationships and gaining “champions” for his cause among the more established players.

This is second nature for a player who is 42% more “Direct”, 36% “Warmer”, and 25% more “Group-Oriented” than the average NBA player. Simply put, Green puts tremendous stock in how he is perceived by those around him.

If you replaced Sullinger with Green for a straight swap, we could be a 55 win team. Right now we are somewhere between 45-48 wins I think. He adds a solid 10 wins easily.

According to Basketball-Reference, 4.2 wins. 

But in all seriousness, last year he had a Win Share of 8.5. That could make us a 45-49 win team if he is playing with us. I'd take the 8 wins.

Draymond Green is an amazing player.

A true gamer.

I mean this guy competes hard 24/7 on the floor. And it isn't even about bravado, or even being arrogant to his teammates, he truly plays like a leader. His attitude and demeanor rubs off on other players, because its inspiring to see how hard he works on both ends.

Green is as vocal as vocal gets, and thats great. There are certain players that have intangibles that you just can't attribute to the stat sheet. I don't think Green is the modern anything. I think hes really unique, because you just don't see players at the 4 that can shoot, and pass while defending at such a high level.

Hes averaging 14.6 PPG, 9.0 RPG, 7.0 APG, 1.2 SPG, and 1.5 BPG.

Every championship team needs a glue guy.

I only hope Marcus Smart can be that type of player.
