Jared Sullinger was not offered a contract extension and will become an unrestricted free agent this summer. We have a crowded front court and multiple first round picks in the coming years.
He's often been injured during his rookie contract and it's no secret that the team has issues with his conditioning.
He's far and away our best rebounder, on any given night can be our best player, and for better or worse wants the ball in his hands at big moments.
Will Jared Sullinger be a Boston Celtic in 2016?
I don't think it's accurate to say that he wasn't offered a contract extension. I'm pretty sure they negotiated and didn't agree on something, in part because when rookie extensions are negotiated, according to the Agent, it's MAX extension or nothing. So that's where it left of.
Not sure at what point that's true or not, but much like Zeller, I'm sure there were some negotiations in place, just no agreement, in part because there's potentially more money to be had this Summer and players have more leverage then.
Same thing with Bradley. Something was offered, he turned it down, still a Celtic.
All this to say... who knows.
