It seems like the board is flooded the past 3 days with trade ideas.  Believe it's ever since we're back talking about DeMarcus Cousins coming to Boston.  Also hearing Dwight Howard unhappy in Houston.  Joakim Noah being kinda on the trade block from the Bulls.  Marc Gasol maybe being on the trade block with Grizzles maybe wanting to blow it up.

So the real question I have, is do we try to trade valuable pieces that are young and working together this year, trade decent players and picks for players, or ride out the year and free agents?

Personally this is my thoughts at this trade deadline.  I really like the young team we have, with a lot of good players on great contracts.  To me these players are not pieces I'm trading for really anything.  Marcus Smart, Isaiah Thomas, Avery Bradley, Jae Crowder, Jordan Mickey, RJ Hunter, James Young is on the edge because he's been showing he's got potential.  Two player I think we should resign at the right price is Jared Sullenger and Evan Turner.  Anybody else on this team, I'm ready to trade and picks.  The only pick I'm not trading for till the draft night is Brooklyn's pick.  I say draft night because I see the pick still being great value, 1 about 7 in this years draft.  It's a deep draft but I think the true impact right away players drop off after 7.

Cousins, yes is the best center in the NBA.  The problem is he comes with a lot of baggage, and could wreck what we have in the locker room and chemistry.  If I'm making a trade for him I'm still offer a lot but not selling the house.  I say this because it's not like when we already had a star with Pierce and we were trying to make a run next year.  Jerebko, Zeller, Olynyk, Rozier, and Young for players, 2 first rounds not Brooklyn's, 3 second rounds this year, 2017 1st round we have the right to swap with Brooklyn top 5 protected.

Howard is an interesting piece to me.  He can opt out at the end of the year, so I'm only trading for him if he opts in for the year next year, or he'll resign a decent contract around 12 million to 15 a year for 3 to 4 years.  If not I'm just hoping he opts out and we could sign him for about the 12 to 15 million a year at the end of the season.  I'm not giving up a lot in a trade for him, be we do need to cut down on players.  David Lee, Tyler Zeller, Jerebko, two of our second round picks because we have I believe 4 and could be 6 in 2016.  In this trade I'd want to pick up Montrezl Harrell.

Noah I think we can strictly wait till the offseason and if we want to sign him we could sign him cheap since he's game has dropped off for one reason of another.

Or do we just wait out the season, keep our draft picks till draft night either draft or trade and see what happens with free agency.

Gasol, I'm a fan of but his contract is way over paid for my liking of him, plus it would take I believe to much to get him from Memphis.

Free Agents of our own.
Jared Sullenger
Evan Turner

Free Agents this year that could come and fit I believe.  Some would have to opt out for this to happen.  Plus players would have to fit with who we draft on draft night.

Kevin Durant
Andre Drummond
Dwight Howard
Al Hortford
Pau Gasol
Hassan Whiteside
Chandler Parsons
Harrison Barnes
Al Jefferson
Roy Hibbert

There isn't a player on this roster that should be off limits.  At some point we might have to lose a trade as a result of a numbers game.  I like the young players we have too but if I can package them for an all star then there is no second guessing.
