Isiah's ill fated attempt at hero ball(go to guy) may give him pause to reflect on that, as well as  cleveland playoffs  this may lead to some balance in his total game as witnessed in charlotte game with his assist total-
isaiah reminds me of a penalty kick in soccer all alone pounding the ball waiting for clock to run down and his one on one attempt

I don't think it will matter.  IT has spent his entire life playing ball one way.  He's not going to let a couple of bad isolation plays change his mindset, for better or for worse.

He front rimmed like 4-5 shots in a row due to fatigue. He's fatigued because he's carrying a heavy load for the C's. I think he's earned the right to take a few last moment shots.

he talked about his game off season and added a floater but i think he is more concious of an all around game if not only for staying away from serious injury--his 2 on 1 fast break and his kicks to avery and those cuts by crowder and kelly makes it seem a more set rotation is helping the read react and amir playing defence-
he  is the go to scorer and i know hero ball has a derogatory feel to it but isaiah is the go to and  the players choice-this was more a reflection of isaiah so isolated running the clock down
-i think that sometimes the clock is run down too far and leaves him rushed and unable to adapt to defensive pressure that is singuarly focused on isaiah, optionality favors isaiah
-someone is going to foul him navigating in paint or using his hesitation and change of direction and speed rather than clear out a down the middle with seconds to go
i fully understand the concept of leaving no time for opponent but the way we play it leaves just isiah and defence with isiah sort of committed and length sort of bothers him-

I didn't mind the second play even, he just short rimmed it because he was gassed. The first one was atrocious though.

Even Curry was front rimming threes by the end of that game.

I prefer Turner and Olynyk playing pick and roll.
Very hard to defend that.

True, it's obvious his legs were gone.  But I think that was reason enough to have him set up someone with some legs under them to take the last shot.

IT is going to be IT. You can hope he can see when he needs to pass and when he needs to shoot but he is a shoot first PG and he is going to shoot, even when he shouldn't. Just gotta live with that and hope he hits more than he misses.

I agree with OP in that one day after hero balled failed him in the most miserable way IT comes out and had a career high in assist.

It's not a total coincidence IMO.
