Indy isnt winning or getting better or a destination for top tier free agents. They're destined for rebuild mode.

Paul George and Ian Mahinmi to Boston
Crowder, Sully, David Lee and picks

Smart, Bradley, George, Kelly, Mahinmi
Isiah, Young, Turner, Amir, Zeller
Hunter, Mickey, Jerebko

Personally I'd like to flip Isiah, Jerebko and the Brooklyn pick for the last piece to the puzzle
(Al Horford, Hibbert, Nene, Noah)
Can't stop, Rondo!

No way you get him without the 2016 BKN pick.

Yeah to get PG at this point you pretty much need to blackmail Larry Bird...it's not happening even with a high Brooklyn pick I'm sure :/

It will take a ton to get George. It will need to include Smart, KO and 3 1sts or something like that

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.

Paul George is a top 5 NBA player. He's in his prime. He's 25 years old and won't be 26 until the playoffs next year.

Why would the Pacers give him up? He's got 5-7 years of prime basketball left and the Pacers will have cap room+ Miles Turner.

I don't get these trade ideas where teams with cap space and solid role players would trade away top 10 players in their primes.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I wouldnt even give up a Brooklyn pick for Horford (who is by far the best player on that list) much less for Hibbert, Nene, or No-Offense Noah

So you're telling me that you plan to get Paul George for a bunch of nothing and then give up the Nets pick for Nene? Interesting.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Indy currently sits better than us in the standings... How exactly are they not winning?
