So you're telling me that you plan to get Paul George for a bunch of nothing and then give up the Nets pick for Nene? Interesting.

Lol.  TP.

That's not going to be enough to land Paul George, I think we need to sweeten the deal a little bit for this to happen, just a little bit.

Maybe adding my first born child in the future will do it. I'm sure it will.

SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine

Indy isnt winning or getting better or a destination for top tier free agents. They're destined for rebuild mode.

Paul George and Ian Mahinmi to Boston
Crowder, Sully, David Lee and picks

Smart, Bradley, George, Kelly, Mahinmi
Isiah, Young, Turner, Amir, Zeller
Hunter, Mickey, Jerebko

Personally I'd like to flip Isiah, Jerebko and the Brooklyn pick for the last piece to the puzzle
(Al Horford, Hibbert, Nene, Noah)

I'm just trying to figure out what type of puzzle you are putting together if Hibbert, Nene, and Noah are the candidates to be the final piece. Are you a visitor from the year 2012?

You don't give up Isaiah or the Brooklyn pick for scraps like that never mind both. Hibbert was just dealt in the offseason for a future 2nd pick and you want to give up two major assets?

Also, I don't know why Indiana needs to burn their team to the ground. They have a better record than the C's (by percentage points), are still transitioning to their new system, and their lottery pick for this season has been out injured. They are currently trending upward. No reason to do a tear down at least until that progress stagnates.

I find the idea of trading IT4 or the Brooklyn pick for Nene, Hibbs, or Noah highly entertaining. If that happens I probably wont be a Boston fan anymore, maybe even stop watching basketball in general.

Indiana is 13-9. They're 5th in the East and currently top ten in both defense and offense. If they make a trade this season it will be to get better, not worse. George isn't going anywhere.

Indiana is 13-9 and the 5th seed right now.  They are much more likely to build around George than trade him.

Maybe they would be inclined to trade Turner for some help this year.  Mayber Zeller and Rozier for Turner and Christmas (or Young).  Perhaps Boston throws in a protected 1st.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Or if they got serious about making a run this year, maybe they'd make a trade for Sullinger?  Seems like they could use some help on the glass.

Would you trade Sully for Turner straight up?

What in the world gives anybody the feeling that Indy would be interested in trading Paul George?  That's a total head scratcher.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I'm going to assume this is residual from last year when George was on the shelf and Indy sucked. They haven't quite picked up where they left off, but they're not far from it.

Regardless, I would love to have George and would give Indy whoever and whatever they want for him.
