Who says no? Zeller has no future here, and if PP wants to come home I think we should do this deal. Thoughts?

I would do it.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

great idea, Pierce has a better shot to win over here than those discombobulated Clippers.

I'm surprised Doc's love of playing vets hasn't gotten him more minutes. Lately when I check the box score he plays 5-6 minutes and goes 0-1.

He has to come back in some way or another. If KG can do it, the Truth definitely can.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

TP! Ainge wouldn't think twice!  All Pierce has to do is say he's ready to come home and Doc would make it happen. Zeller would be a good back up Center for the Clippers.

We could use Truths confidence in the locker room. He'd be a great mentor--especially to our younger players. I'd also love to see us draft a SF w/ the Nets pick so he can mentor that player as well. For example Simmons if we get #1, or Jaylen Brown/Ingram if we get a top 7 pick.

Obviously we draft the best player available with our pick-- and I if that happens to be a big man I'm all for it!

I'm all for bringing back Pierce

December 14th is almost here... the day a lot of guys who signed as free agents can be traded.

Why would PIerce want to leave the Clips, though?  He loves Doc and he lives in LA.  Clips are in 4th place in the West.

I'd like to think Doc would take into account what PP wants, but if he has the opportunity to get a young player on a team starved for young, NBA quality players (so not Austin Rivers), he probably should.

I didn't realize how terrible of a season Paul was having over there.   His stats are horrible and he's barely getting any minutes.   Yeah, maybe Doc would send him home.

He's definitely struggled, but we're not getting anything out of Zeller and we might as well get a guy who can hit clutch shots.

Does anyone know if this could really happen? Like I know Pierce isn't playing much but what about the logistics? Salaries? Does LA need another C?
