The one weakness the Warriors seem to have is that they do turn the ball over a lot for a good team (and they're a great team). If the Celtics can take advantage of that and force even more TO's they can be in this game.

The other thing we're going to have to do is just throw a lot of different looks at Curry. Even without Smart, we can still have Bradley hounding him, Thomas using his quickness to just stick with him no matter what, it might be worth giving Rozier some minutes where you just tell him to get inside Curry's jersey and don't worry about anything else, and Crowder can maybe even muscle him a little.

I'm excited that the Celtics can really be in this game.

I think we have a good chance for the simple reason GSW are due for a loss, that IMO is the best thing we have going for us.

Turnovers would be the key.

It's true that there will be nights when Golden State would just be careless with the ball, and we are one of the best in the league in forcing Turnovers.

If we can do that, and we capitalize on it, we certainly can beat the Dubs. Also, one key would be to put Draymond Green in foul trouble, early. He does so many things on the court that benefits everyone on that team, we get him to sit early, we strike, and we can be in position to win. Post up Amir, or Sullinger and be aggressive. It's easier said than done of course, but if we can, we could snatch this.

I d felt better about this prediction .....

If Marcus was never injuried and was playing with full defensive mojo.

Is it possible Jae Crowder is the best player in the league to guard Draymond Green?

I'm inclined to say Kawhi. But then again, Kawhi is probably the best in the league to guard a lot of guys.

JVG is an idiot.  He will say team x,y,z will beat GSW. Heck he will probably say the 76ers will pull the biggest upset next and beat GSW.  Then he will say ... I told you so

Celtics chance to win = all of these factors

- Thompson sits
- Iguadala sits
- Green had food poisoning earlier in the day and is not 100 percent
- IT breaks breaks Steph Curry's ankle

and even then ,  Jerebko makes a miraculous 3 pt shot at the buzzer for the Celts to win lol

All joking aside, we have a nice chance to win.   AB has to pressure Curry like no tomorrow. Don't for heavens sake look at Green when he gets the ball underneath the basket.  He has like no post moves.  Just stay with your man.

I hope also Sullinger grinds the crap out of Green and tires him out.  Olynyk nails 3 after 3 and makes Ezeli ineffective.

It's going to be a fun game to watch.  I just hope we keep forcing the turnovers and execute on our opportunities on the offensive end

I'm not sure anybody is beating the Warriors

Your Celtics will.   CBS absolutely loves these kind of games. He is probably watching film right now.

They will lose games. It just happens. There are 82 games in the season. There is a lot of randomness in sports. They almost lost to the Nets.

It will also be tiring for GS as every team is getting up for them.

Our hope and advantage as well is to bite and bite and bite. Unlike us, it will be an ordinary evening to them. Plus, numbers say that they have to lose somewhere and Boston is the best place to happen.

I think it goes both ways, though.

If you watch GS games now, you can see teams get visibly discouraged when they go on a run.  The Warriors have an air of invincibility around them right now.  They get up by 10 points in the first quarter and you can tell the game is over.

The thing is that Golden State has been able to rest their key guys for tremendously long fourth-quarter stretches. Theyre usually up so much that Curry et. al. sit for entire fourth quarters. Curry's only playing 34.4 minutes a night.

Van Gundy made that statement based on Warrior's injuries, specifically Klay Thompson. he failed to mention we were without Marcus Smart. I don't like the guy, he announced the whole game like he had a man crush on Chicago.
Once again James Young proves he has nothing!!!!

Nice win, these are the type games that are "must win" for this team.

Some people hear what they want to hear I guess.

Now why would you say something like that???  I'm not some people and that is what the man said!!!
