Here's a more realistic option: The Magic. They are thriving right now and they're not playing their lottery picks from the past 2 years. Aaron Gordon and Mario Hezonja. I think those guys would fit beautifully with the Celtics. I could see something getting done. Just putting that out there.
I think they are utilizing Gordon, but they sure are not playing Mario. That is a brilliant catch on your part!!! What do you think it would take to get him?? He was the 5th pick last year.

They're using Gordon as a role player though and the way the team is set up, he could be expendable. They have him, Harris, Fournier, Nicholson, Frye. All guys who can play the forward. But who knows.
Unfortunately I can't see the Celtics and the Magic striking up a deal for Hezonja because the 1. The Celtics don't have much that the Magic would want and 2. I think the Celtics would be reluctant to give up their most valuable assets. The Magic don't want picks or young talent because they have plenty of that on their roster. The Magic would want proven talent that would help the team for Hezonja. The Celtics only have IT, Bradley, Sully, and Crowder as far as proven above average talent in that department, and come on, the Magic would not want any of those guys. They have plenty of good guards and forwards on their roster.
One of the few teams that could give said upgrade is the Kings. I could see a Vucevic-Hezonja-Nicholson-2017 Lakers pick for Demarcus Cousins.
The only way I see Hezonja coming to the Celtics is through a multi-team deal.
