Crowder is a role player who suddenly gets the green light with the Celts. That needs to change.

the whole team is role players
There are a lot better options on offense then him on this team.

true, but everyone else is inconsistent as well.

what i'd like to know is what the hell happened to the 3 pt shooting I couldn't stand last yr.?

STOP SHOOTING AB
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Clearly the most efficient defense for Celtics opponents is to just stand there given that open jumpers seem to be worth about 0.001 points to us.

Great words from a great man

We miss Smart. Our defense really took a hit and Rozier looks far from ready to contribute.

It's not like this is the only problem but has anyone EVER made Stevens explain what he's doing with his rotations?  I mean, he knows way more about basketball than I do but I cannot for the life of me see any plan, design or philosophy in his substitutions.

yep. Crowder makes me cringe when he shoots from three. Same with Turner. And what happened to Olynyk's 3 point shooting?

I hate to say it, but I am really not a big fan of IT.  He does get hot and there are times I love him, but there is so much cost to his game that I am not sure how much overall benefit we get.  He gives good effort on D but he's too small to be anything more than occasionally effective.  He slices in the lane with abandon and sometimes pulls it off miraculously, but too often he loses control of the ball or his body.    I'd like to see him back in the spark plug role.  Reduced minutes; change of pace player.

Turner has had no range. No range and lacking athleticism is the reason we got him for cheap.

These last three games, the pick and roll defense has been so bad, I can hardly believe it.

Turner from 3 is such a gift to the defense

STOP SHOOTING AB

OK. But who should be shooting?   He's the best shooter on the team (RJH is probably a better pure shooter but less able to find openings -- for now).   AB is the only player I am comfortable shooting through his cold spells.  In fact, i think that will ultimately make him a better scorer.

How about that last brick and forced shot at the rim against their center. Was typical bad Turner plays.
