Also changed " thank you Brooklyn " when informed of the chants Crowder smiled and said "thank you Brooklyn that's all I can say"

Bradley smiles and said " my job is to play basketball man"

Ouch. Boston fans really know how to pour salt in your wounds. Billy the Bozo King.

They shouldn't do ANYTHING to motivate the Nets.  Just let them quietly lose.  Stop tempting fate.

That's right -- provide the players with that little extra voice in their head just as they are about to give up that says every win denies boston a better pick.  Mouths shut! -- don't give them even the slightest reason to persevere.

TP to both of you guys. I completely agree.

Us mocking them and reveling in their misfortune, while admittedly enjoyable sometimes, lacks class, and coupled with threads like the over-under on Robin Lopez' foot injury could be some really bad juju.

Well the first pick may just turn out to be a dud with James Young.  ......so I'm not counting my chickens yet.

I would not mock them either , that's childish ......6 th grader stuff .

Celtics could easy wind up with three nothing players .....that's how the draft is ......a huge gamble

See Embiid.

Right now the lowly Doc pick of Hunter blows away the Net pick of Young.

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

In reality the Nets players, similarly to the Celtics players, couldn't give a sh$% about draft picks.
It will likely never enter their mind for a second.

Its in the mind of the fans but you don't think the players think about it?  Wishful thinking.

Any chance someone can detail when exactly in the game this happened? I'd like to see this.

SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

To be fair, a Robin Lopez foot injury probably is just going to bum Brook out for a minute, so it's an awfully small jinx on the Nets.   :P
