Regardless of whether you want him as a Celtic, apply the same standard across the board. If this incident is reason to think he's a loser head case, apply the same standard to our recent Celtics greats.
Take your pick. I especially recommend the incident around 4:00.

The technical fouls for complaining bother me more than him playing physically. At the same time, I'd point out 1) a lot of those come from reacting to legitimately bad calls, and 2) lots of great players pick up techs.
Last year, Russell Westbrook led the NBA in techs. Blake Griffin and Draymond Green were in the top-6.
The year prior, Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin led the league (along with Cousins); Dwight Howard, Joakim Noah, Andre Drummond, Chris Paul, Kyle Lowry, and Russell Westbrook were all in the top-12.
In 2013, the top-10 included Westbrook, Griffin, Durant, Carmelo, and Kobe. Universally well-regarded leader David West was 11th.
2012, the top-12 included Griffin, Tyson Chandler, Carmelo, Westbrook, D12, Deron, Amare, Granger, Kobe, CP3, and Dirk (!)
And of course this season, the top-5 includes Griffin, Westbrook, Paul George and Draymond Green.
Is it fair to say that those who don't want Cousins because of his inability to contain his technical fouls would also pass on guys like Griffin, Westbrook, Kobe, CP3, Howard, Draymond Green and Durant?
You know what I care about more than technical fouls and physical play? Guys who sacrifice their body to win. Guess who led the NBA in charges drawn last year? DeMarcus Cousins. The year before? DeMarcus Cousins. The kid is a tremendously hard worker who has really improved his game. He plays excellent defense, he's added an outside shot.
He's a productive, passionate, hard-working player. I don't care if he doesn't earn enough style points while he's playing, or if he doesn't genuflect before the right people.
