Noah would be kind of ideal here wouldn't he?  What kind of a defensive monster would Smart, Bradley, Crowder, Amir and Noah be?

Yeah, if the Celtics are done with tanking (and they are), then taking a flier on Noah for a season would totally be worth it if the price is right (no first rounders in the trade at all, the Bulls and the Bulls' media have done enough to crush his value, and any team dealing with them should have leverage for that fact).

He's a great fit defensively even if he is broken down. He's a wonderful passer. He's still averaging 4 APG in only 20 MPG. He fits so well with what Stevens wants from this team. Stevens wanted the (starters) offense to run through Lee before the season began, but that quickly failed. With Noah, Stevens can actually get what he wants, because Noah is so good running the offense out of the high post.

Unfortunately I don't think the Celtics and Bulls are great trading partners unless they would really value having a couple second rounders and the restricted rights to Zeller, lol.

His feet are really bad. He doesn't have the same mobility he used to have. If the price right though, I'd take the risk.

If Chicago is looking to move him, you don't throw a bunch at them. Your doing them a favor by giving them something they can use now. Maybe our own pick at the most if you're doing picks, unless you can get a McBuckets also. then maybe the Mavs pick, but you have to throw them a project, like Young. You really need to get something in return if you're helping Chi out with them getting a player that helps them on the offensive end more than Noah.

Boston and  Chicago's money doesn't add up well when you try to swap players for needs. Might need a third team. But if you can get Noah and McBuckets(who is't the deal breaker but could be a nice player under Stevens) I'd throw and combo of in Lee,Turner,Zeller,Young.

Haven't seen the Bulls play much, why is Noah washed up at 30? I know he's been injured a lot over the years, is he healthy? 30 should be some of your best years, what's the deal?

He just does't move as active as he used too to my eye.   Maybe the mileage of playing like a mad man is catching up.  Thibs ran the poop out of him.

I still think he can bring three good years at least to another fast paced ball movement team.

I think his minutes need to stay under 25 to keep his spring wound tight....LOL

I mean, Noah was like an MVP candidate in the 2014 season and he's still in his 20's. You absolutely nab him at the right price if you're Danny Ainge.

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Fair enough, I thought he was like 28 or 29.

We definitely need size on this team, and if Danny is able to get Noah on the cheap then why not? The only downside is his age, but I'm sure that he will be an immediate impact on this team

It's not the years , but the mileage with Noah . I suspect his body is starting to reject the physical stress he once brought every night

Still I see him giving some team ,  a KG effort for no matter his age for the next 3 years anyhow , possiblely at reduced minutes to keep him healthy.

Dude is game .

Pass, unless they don't have to give up a single pick for him. He's a rental in decline.

Lee and Sully for Noah with some good second round picks included would be fine with me. It clears up the logjam in the frontcourt and gives you a guy that you can sign for some years. You just have to be willing to watch his minutes played but the Celtics are already doing that with Sully, so no big deal.

But why give away Sully for a guy that is going to be an unrestricted free agent in the upcoming off season :o? Essentially, we could possibly sign Noah in the summer AND retain Sully (who is going to be restricted). Furthermore, Sully has been playing really well this year, which is why it would be a shame to give him away for a player who is barely playing for his own team ::)

Yeah that's way too much for Noah. I would do Lee, Young and picks. The front court logjam is not a good enough reason to give up a rising player like Sully.
